Chicago
Probably they are missing Skiles already.

Chicago is a safe bet
Skiles’ case is improving with MIL’s improved play under his watch. Chicago has to wonder if that was an error, and if last year’s bad start was not his fault. The players seem to have trouble getting along, irrespective of coaching.
Without D’Antoni available, Avery is the obvious choice when VDN inevitably leaves.
I doubt KP has Avery on his radar, even if he was considering replacing Nate (which I also currently doubt).
Skiles totally lost that team
but they are definitely missing good head coaching
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.
Every coach seems to lose that team.
After a while, you start to wonder where the problem is. Milwaukie seems thrilled with Skiles so far.
joachim noah? tyrus thomas? ben gordon? drew gooden?
hmmm, those guys all seem problematical to me.
ignacio
They dont really seem like real trouble makers
Sure Ben Gordon was trying to get paid, Noah called out his teammates but did not have the clout of a vet, and he smoked some pot (surprise surprise that the son of a reggae star smokes pot.), Tyrus Thomas seems a little thick skulled, and Drew Gooden makes some boneheaded choices in both fashion and shot selection, but none of them is really a cancer.

Skiles is a yeller
and eventually you just tune someone like that out. The Drill Sargent routine only takes you so far before it loses its efficacy.
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.
Is he stil a drill sargent this season? I haven't read up on him much.
Much in the way Nate was “Sarge” when Darius and Zach were here, and has since mellowed, I wondered if Skiles had similar circumstances.
I havent
but that was his shtick in Chicago and Phoenix, he may have changed but I am not holding my breath.
Besides Mil needed a swift kick, hopefully they realize that they need to bring in someone else before things go south on Skiles.
I should probably say that I really like Skiles, but I dont think his throwback attitude fits perfectly with some of the more coddled NBA players.
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.
Thanks for the insight.
I hadn’t brushed up on Skiles and his time in CHI and MIL (and was legitimately curious), so interesting info.
no worries
I should probably read up on what Mil is saying, but they seem to be in a honeymoon phase right now so the info might be rose colored at this point
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.
Aside from Skiles
they have never really brought in a good coach, and I think it is generally accepted that Skiles is a good coach, but he seems to have about a 3 year shelf life. It seems that his tenure in Mil is mimicking his start in Chicago, which in turn mirrored his time with the suns.
I dont think things are really going to change in Chicago until they bring in some new upper management.

Take a look at my name
It’s some good advice.

Haha! Good one.
"Aneurysm".
When Outlaw wins a game on a last-second shot, it’s called an "annthefaneurysm". QualityPie
I agree with the guy with the situationally specific user name. Also, fan-shots are awesome! Who wants to read what some un-paid blowhard thinks about basketball? I want to know what the paid blow-hards think!
I want to be a paid blowhard,

I didn't read anything here in this entire post...it was too long (75 words).
Usually I just read the pictures and such anyways.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This is WRONG.
Now this is disrespectful to the current coach and their new one, two Trail Blazers LEGENDS. Their current coach, Johnny Davis and their apparent new (old) coach Lionel Hollins were members of that fabled 1977 Champion Trail Blazers team. I am a die hard fan (probably to a fault) of all Trail Blazers, new and old. This post shows no respect to these men that should be held in the highest esteem by us.
thank you for reminding me
so this Grizz move can stick firmly in my craw. Now I have three reasons to hate them:
~ In ’01 they came to Portland on Clyde Drexler Jersey Retirement Night and beat Portland which sent the team into a tailspin
~ Darius Miles
~ Disrespecting former Blazer greats
