I dont know how good Hinrich is compared to Blake
They aren't that different in offensive terms
but I’m telling you, Hinrich is a pest on defense. He moves his feet amazingly well. If you added him to the lineup, and gave Batum/Martell a few years of seasoning, our perimeter defense issues are solved.
The only problem I see with it
is that Hinrich works best with the ball in his hands, which would mean some negotiating with Roy. But I think I’d be willing to let them work it out. After all, Roy will eventually have to share with someone unless he intends to play point for real.

Well, I personally only want Roy controlling the ball in the fourth quarter so I like the idea of a point guard who can play well with the ball
plus Hinrich can hit threes so if he needs to, he can be a Blake with defense.

Kevin Arnovitz’s analysis of the Rose-Hinrich backcourt? Both players need the ball in their hands, but they were able to meld into a very effective combo.

I found a sports bar up the hill that says they will show the game, but it’s 10:40 am here, which means they likely aren’t open.
Also, if I start hanging around in bars in the morning (again), it will be tough on my get-a-job pledge, and my liver.

I would be less than surprised if we traded for Mike Conley. That reeks of a KP move. “Fallen angel” type player, buy low opportunity, relationship with Oden. When Quick mentions the same player over and over again as a guy KP likes, we should listen.
Hinrich is probably a pipe dream.

The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

we would make a serious run at the #2 seed.
The upside is that by the time those guys hit 30-32, Batum and Bayless are rounding into shape. It’s perfect.
If we trade for Hinrich expect Blake to be going out which is very unfortunate

I agree I think Conley and Bayless developing with young players together could reap huge rewards later.

I expected more of a breakout from Conley this year...
… but drafting Mayo has really set him back. I loved him coming out of tOSU and I would still be intrigued with him, however I’m not convinced he’s a better prospect that Bayless (Conley’s much more of a true point, but with Roy that’s not necessarily what we want).

jbay needs to learn to keep that arm down. my point is that he didn’t actually do anything with it. that’s just refs rewarding the flop.
One of the hardest parts about playing certain teams (CLE, LA, BOS, MIA)
Is dealing with the questionable calls in those games.
