Today's Poll -- Autograph or Picture
Prepare to get jealous... BE Reader "Fatty" sent in these pictures from New Jersey...
So awesome.
Every game lucky fans walk out of the Rose Garden with pictures and/or autographs from the Blazers and their broadcasting staff. My question for you: Which would you rather have, a picture or an autograph? Vote in the poll and then discuss the relative merits of each and whose autograph/picture you'd want the most from this year's group.

Ptown fan living outside PDX for the last few years...
Am I getting this right? If you stay after games at the rose garden, you can get pictures/autographs with your favorite players??
best time is pregame i think… if you can get in the building early…
postgame there’s a little section they rope off for people that have special passes… or you can try standing outside the players garage, a lot of times guys will sign there too

I voted for photo
but what I really think would be awesome is to get my game-day jersey signed by Roy on the number 7. The only problem would be that I am sure that it would look like I was trying to do that for money or to sell it or something, but I just think that would be really really awesome.

Saw him on tv at a game
a season or two ago ; don’t remember what team. He said something about wearing a Drexler jersey and tv showed a well-rounded, African-American wearing a Drexler jersey and I knew it had to be him; therefore, these pictures were no surprise (other than the switch to Oden.)

Why would fatty wear an Oden jersey?

No, he likes Oden
He disliked bandwagon fans who started liking the Blazers just BECAUSE of Oden.
While fatty may had been hard on Oden at various times, that’s just fatty saying what he sees (and often it’s true), but he’s always been a fan of what Oden would become.
As far as I can remember, the only people fatty didn’t like were Nash and Patterson, and Webster and Outlaw— but he liked Webster’s season last year.

No, you're the only one
Someone criticising fatty’s posts for being hard to read isn’t something that really happened, so I believe you are the first to indeed have a problem with them.
They have often been called crystal clear, precise, the written equivalent of a smooth lager.
I don’t see why one would have difficulty ascertaining what is written in the average fatty post, but to each their own. You are on an island made of your own hatred and ignorance with this one though, Magnum.

You could buy used Oden jerseys really cheap about a week and a half ago...
"Now with a non-provocative footer!"
Pre-printed you can only buy oden or roy jerseys
you can custom order the others

You can also buy Aldridge and I think Fernandez
I saw them at GI Joes. They might have been the cheaper replica jerseys, I don’t remember.

Jerseys
What is the “authentic” jersey and why would someone pay $200 for one? When I see jerseys on people I don’t look for tags or anything to try to determine how “authentic” they are. (Nor would I judge the person by which one they chose.) I had trouble even telling the difference between the Swingman and replica jerseys in the team shop. (My grandkids got jerseys for Christmas – Webster and Fernandez.)
I see the NBA shop is still selling Blazer Randolph jerseys. Shav really should have chosen to wear #50

I do. You got to have the real stitches and letters that pop out. Common Jorga, if you don’t judge people on how they look what are you gonna judge them on? Personality? Thats just crazy.

I know - I'm always doing it wrong
May I judge them by the name of the player on their jersey? Oh wait that won’t work. I sat by a Miles last season and he seemed like a pretty decent guy.

That’s not good enough.
You also have to check the tags.

and an autograph is only like two or three words at most… so definitely a pic.
I’d take a pic with any Blazer and be honored no matter who it was. If I was on my deathbed… I’d have to ask for Roy. That guy’s basketball skill is bromancable, mancrushable, dudelicous even.

How tall is Rebecca Haarlow?
I know she is taller than Tony Luftman, and never looks too short when interviewing some of the guards.
Height
She is pretty tall if you see her on the court live.
Mind you she usually has on some hefty heels
Yea when I was sitting near the court
And she was doing here Reporting piece on the court (by the way its really funny that they have her do that, as she is doing her standing up piece like 12 feet from the Mikes, and they are all talking to the cameras but anyways) she looked really tall in heels, like over 6’. And she is really attractive in person I am not sure if it is the camera or whatever, but I was kind of a doubter and then saw her in person and she is very attractive in real life.
From the back of Travis Outlaw's Franz card: Travis leads the team in monstrous thunder dunks, wins awards for post game interviews, and often gets extra points for degree of difficulty.
She is a hurdler
so she’s got that athletic thing going. Keep going Rebecca. – Elgin

She usually wear's high heels to cover and extra 3-4"
I’d guess she is 5’10" from the interviews with our guards.

I hate autographs though. I don’t know how many times I’ve been around someone famous and someone says, “Who’s that?” Then they go ask for an autograph, even though they don’t know who it is. Same with people who get napkins and coasters signed. What’s the deal with that? I still wouldn’t ask for a photo unless I actually hung out with the person.

I voted autograph, but the best thing is a few sentences of conversation. It doesn’t have to be a five-minute deal, although that would be great . . . but a few sentences is really all anyone can ask for. So, that’s all I ask for. – Elgin
