The word “boy” has racial connotations? An African American ref calls a black player “boy” and racism is involved? It seems like a bit of a stretch, unless they said more than was reported.

I don't mind that it is offensive
I just wish people would make a list of offensive words so we know not to use them. “Lynching” and “boy” was only added to my “that’s racist” list this year.
