Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

A bit of good news--it's LeBron and...LeBron next Wednesday at the Garden; Delonte West fractured his wrist in that loss to the Bulls last night (man, didn't we sweep them? :)), and is out 6 weeks or so.

Looks like a great time to be catching them--on the road, in a slump of sorts, without a big cog.

One of my goals for this year is to see the Blazers beat the L+kers, Celts and Cavs all at least once. One down, next one up Wednesday!

No Z Either,

Which could help. Granted, they had little problem with New Orleans tonight, and they’ve only got one game (against the L*kers) until we play them.

Too bad

but having Z and West out sort of evens out things, with us having Martell out so long and now Blake.

Will be an interesting game.

I know you can put admiration in bags, because admiration is real, and tominhawaii says that everything that is real is measurable.

But it would be a "W".

That’s what we need!

My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Good news?

A guy breaking his wrist is good news? I want the Blazers to win as much as you do, but is that really how we want them to do it? I just can’t bring myself to celebrate a player’s injury.

no, that he's out

I didn’t wish for West to break his wrist so he’s out, but now that he’s out, the fact that it occurred during the trip to the Garden is good news. That’s all. I’m celebrating his absence, not his injury.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
