Signs for Shavlik at the RG?
There is a weird phenomenon happening at Blazers home games lately... When I was at the game on Saturday vs GSW, there were two or three fan signs in the stands for our very own #42, Mr. Shavlik Randolph.
So, I have to ask... WTF? We're talking about a player who is only one notch above RLEC and one notch below Martell's foot, and has yet to see log any PT in the regular season. Am I missing something? Please, enlighten me.

Were they sitting 10 rows behind the Blazer's bench by any chance?
It might have been LetsBlaze’s wife, her adult male friend, and some kids…
They were in town from North Carolina checking in on the Shave-meister.

I saw two signs
“Shavlik is Blazers secret weapon”
“We love Shavlik”
Don’t hate dude. If people want to show support for our bench players then they should.

Shav deserves love too
I’m happy he got his contract guaranteed and if anyone wants to make him a sign I am happy for them and I hope Shav sees it and it warms his heart.
Even if I hated Duke like I am supposed to (I just don’t care about college basketball), I would still be happy for Shavlick.
That’s one of the great things about Blazer fans… even though Shav hasn’t been a big part of the team on the court, there is always still a fan ready to give that player some love with a nice sign.
EVERYBODY… NEEDS SOMEBODY… TO MAKE A SIIIIIIGGGGN, FOR THEM.

Faith on KP?
Maybe we should give Shav a chance.
See what happens.

I won´t be surprised if Ike and Frye are gone and Shav takes their place as the third PF.
Sergio + Rudy = 16
Sergio + Bayless = 16
Batum 8+8=16

Sounds like something you order at Mabel’s diner

Exactly. That´s why KP signed him up when there were 4 more PF.
I´m sorry for Ike and Frye. Maybe you don´t remember who they are:

Frye 2008/2009 -———————————————————————— Frye 2007/2008

Sergio + Rudy = 16
Sergio + Bayless = 16
Batum 8+8=16

Facts on the signs
I had absolutely nothing to do with any of them
The two youngs girls with the we Love Shavlik sign? .. Shav and I don’t know either of them…I didn’t know about the two but my wife saw the one on the big screen with the two girls..
Well guys and girls, the best part was that Shavlik saw them…..“they were pretty cool to see..” but he thought I had set it up, knowing my wife and friends were there..Not that he didn’t still like it…:-) BUT WE DIDN"T DO IT
When I told Shav I was not involved, he said:..“are you serious, or did you have something to do with it?” . .
So thank you anonymous fan people – - – I hope you are reading this. Thank you for helping my buddy remember that people know he’s here- – and thank you for posting this…I was trying to find a way to thank them that wouldn’t look like blatant promotion …
I do promote – - no doubt… Read my contributions here – - Shav’s a friend of mine and I want to see him on the floor – - -I wouldn’t push it at the expense of the team or to the detriment of others on the squad…but hell – - -show me a player who doesn’t want to play.. My wife and kids gave him a standing ovation at home when he made his free throws against Detroit in the first round of the playoff last year..I’ve watched every game this season but one…so personally I would love to see Junior on the floor…
I know it was preseason but: 10 & 6 60% fg% 75FTblocks steals assists…this guy is waiting to breakout…and as I said earlier ..(11/25?) when someone gave him just a little too much grief the day after his birthday, that either KP & Nate & Co know what they are doing, or they enjoy paying someone a bunch just to watch.. Now that they have guaranteed the contract, I guess you see I’m back talking a little more, and that there HAS to be a plan..
I’m hoping for a return to the court in Philadelphia…Talk about good PR giving a player a chance to come back off a career ending injury….hmmmm ESPN lead story…DM who,.,.,.,.,.?

Count me as one fan who is itching to see Randolph get some court time.
Of course the itching could be the result of spending a weekend as Tom’s guest.

Calling for the benchwarmer is a longstanding sports tradition
For one thing, if your team is good, and the BW makes an appearance—it probably means your crushing the other team. A Shav appearance is like Red Auerbach lighting a cigar.
For another, some benchwarmers are really colorful characters. The best benchwarmers are the wholly-uncoordinated 7-footers who the clueless think are a bit of hard practice away from magically turning into Olajuwon. I kinda miss Ha in this role; and the king of all NBA benchwarmers has to be the one-and-only Chuck Nevitt.
