Gameday Open Thread -- Bulls
According to BaB, it sounds like Hinrich will be playing tonight. Will it really be a 30 point victory? We'll see.
No pictures here and please remember site rules.
Like Derrick Rose, one of you will be first.

I had steak from a bull killed in a bullfight
When I had a small job in Pamplona during the running of the bulls, a few years back.
It wasn’t very good steak, BUT STEAK NONETHELESS.

The question we should really ponder is not why al-Zeidi could be so impolite as to throw his shoes at Bush, but why the dozens of other shoes in the room remained on people's feet, why no foot odor ever purifies the air at a White House press conference, why a man who throws his shoes at our president is more popular than our president himself.

This isn't a gimme
Oden and Pryz have had games where they rebound well but don’t take advantage OFFENSIVELY of their size advantage on the much smaller opponent. If they have that sort of game and our perimeter players have bad games, the Bulls could easily beat us.
Gordon could score 50, Rose could tear up our PGs easily, and LMA could have an off game.
They got talent, so it ain’t a gimme, not by a long shot.
We just gotta go inside early and often, and create offense inside out. Having Roy makes me worry a lot less as well. We MUST make them pay for being so much smaller, or we can easily lose.
Mortimer
I agree
give Oden the rock down low often… let them get in foul trouble early instead of the painfully other-way-around

alright. I've seen enough of this garbage
I’m going to switch the tv to the Oklahoma game so I can watch Blake Griffin.
I don't think it is insurmountable
I just don’t want to watch crappy play by our team.

This is common
We’ve been shooting terribly in the first half of a lot of games lately. They almost always snap out of it in the second half, especial in games that they should win.

One of my worst fears in life
Is that one (or all) of my kids ends up looking like Joakim Noah.
Oh man.
Travis IQ
Travis IQ is a tad larger than his shoe size. On the fast break with Blake, he was roaming the 3 pt line instead of following Blake to grab a rebound should he misses. Blake missed and Travis was standing at the 3 pt line while the rebound fell in front of him. A Chicago player grabbed it.

Best fantasy numbers for a PF, I believe
But he has done this before, got a good streak going.

Yeah I know conventional wisdom says take the big over the small, but still I would go with Harden if I had to choose. Harden is phenomenal. Pure magic on the court.

when oden is in rhythm
the bulls cant stop him, on his last FTs they had 3 defenders around him and they still couldnt stop him
I just checked the boxscore
Roy 1 for 7, 3 turnovers, but a positive +/-.
Oden was awesome, has a negative +/-.
Huh.

Then it’s undeniable. The rest of the time you just ignore it. How valuable.
