Gameday Open Thread: Warriors vs. Blazers--Second Half

Fun Fact of the Day:

I usually Tivo games nowadays so I can put Baby Point Guard to bed and then watch instead of dividing my attention in two.  That means when I post these second half game threads I have to put my hand over the monitor in the spot where the scoreboard is in order to not see the halftime score in advance.  What I do for you guys...

Enjoy talking about the second half and endgame here!  I'll be about caught up by the time you finish.

I'm listening to a bad Warrior internet radio feed.

When he dunked what did Rudy do that was so egregious. The announcer sounded as if he had tried to kill someone.

I saw the replay from the GS broadcast

I understand why they were unhappy. We’d be unhappy if a player did it to the Blazer.

Outlaw just kinda pushed off Turiaf for effect, after the dunk. But he pushed hard enough the he helped Turiaf head into the front row.

He wasn’t being malicious, but it was a little… over-energetic.

Far be it from me to advise the team formerly known as the Seattle SuperSonics, but I think that ...

Sam Presti ought to select native Oklahoman and OU standout Blake Griffin — which is contingent on the franchise — and, in turn, convert Jeff Green into a sixth man who’d backup both forward positions. Yet, if shooting guard is deemed to be its most pressing need, then James Harden of ASU could be plucked with a top-three pick.

Brandon Roy is our savior

Notice how things started turning around because of him. Oden helped too.

The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

can anyone give me the link with the GS announcers?

thx

The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

I wonder...

If the Warriors would be interested in Troutlaw. As many ISOs as they run and as many shoot-first-shoot-second guys as they have, he’d fit right in.

Who do they have that we’d want though?

(That said, Outlaw’s having a great game tonight.)

that dude should be the # 1 pick in this year’s draft. His game is comparable to Roy’s, though I gotta say the dude is probably better than Roy.

Saw him today

He’s the real deal, B Roy like in the sense he knows how to play, makes his teammates better, but no 1 thing stands out except the results and the wins, which is the most important thing. Better college player, but Roy has certainly stepped it up in the league
