Greg Oden: Singer or Basketball Player

Greg Oden: The Next American Idol? Did you hear Greg Karaoke to n'Sync? It gave me goosebumps! Such an angelic voice for such a big man. It was worthy of a grammy or two, if not best Male Performance of the Year. Also... Did you get a chance to see Greg work the vocal's with Justin Timberlake at the ESPY'S?! OH MY GOSH! The man has a future in Motown after his run as MVP is over in 2018. What do you think? Should Greg give up his dream of NBA superstardom and pursue his real passion of Singing? I mean come on, he has the voice AND the dance moves! Guy's like that don't come along every draft!

Greg Oden Can Sing, We Know that, But should he quit Basketball to pursue his true passion?

DOOD

I want to see that 7 footer bust out a windmill on a giant Oden size piece of card board with electric boogie playing in the background.

"The next day in practice, if you sweat, it's going to come out of your pores, regardless. If you ask any coach around the league how many times they have smelled liquor on a player . . . As long as that player is showing up on time, doing the drills and running, that's part of it. But there have been times, yeah. Yeah, you probably smelled liquor on me. But it's not like I'm at practice drunk. I'm totally focused."

The Running (Big) Man

That guy just cracks me up, I love a man who isn’t afraid to Karaoke, but even the Great Andy would blush at attempting and N’Sync song, that Great Oden? Sails right through it was grace and style. And a voice that could melt the polar ice caps.

THAT was painful

My dog started howling when I cranked up that video of Greg Kroak-ing

At least with American Idol auditions, the judges step in and put the contestant out of our misery

How did they ever get Oden to sing on key at the ESPY’s? Can you say lip-synching to go along with his muted piano playing?

I love ya GO, but stick to dancing and pass the microphone

I cry for Greg Oden, how dare you! He’s only trying to make you happy, and this is the thanks you give!

What? The man sings like Mariah Carey BEFORE she got old

Come on two4larue, the man has skills, if not singing then surely in pest control, I know when he hit that high key all the cockroaches in my house ran away.

Travis Outlaw also thinks he can sing and rap. What do they put in the Gatorade in Tualatin?

Odenied: Asked whether he noticed Oden favoring his right knee, Frye dismissed it entirely. "He favors dunking on your head, that's what he favors."

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
