im only sad/mad
b/c it reminded me of the Roy post a couple of weeks ago.

That was a very hard winter,
and it was just like one long night,
with me lying awake, waiting and waiting and waiting
for daybreak.

Ahhh it's okay
I know Frye has been working hard and it sucks he’ll be hurt at first and have to rehab, but lookie dis way: Trout gets to play more PF like we all know he was going to end up doing anyways, Martell gets good minutes along with the new fellows, and we can see if Ike Diogu is worth anything.
Maybe it sends Frye’s season into a tailspin, but he’ll get some time to show what he can do and he shouldn’t be out too long. We also know what Frye is about, while Diogu is a mystery man…
Oh well, it happened for a reason and hopefully this experience will be illuminating for player and fan alike.
Mortimer
Actually Diogu might be the biggest beneficiary

6 weeks from now
it will still preseason. Um, it’s preseason. There won’t be any afteraffects from a bone spur removal barring infection. Again, let me reiterate. Preseason.
Phew
I’m a big Channing Frye fan, I think he’s a solid player.

Frye Has Surgery, Expected Back For Season Start
I like my headline better.
We're just getting all of our injuries out of the way now
Now, I think we’ll be good for 3 or 4 years at least.
Devil's Advocate or just argumentative?
I hope you're right.
I think they just want to take care of these things before the grind of the season begins. I’d rather have these players miss a couple games in the beginning of the season than in the midst of our playoff run at the end of the season.
Beaver believer!
aye

now I know what Ike Diogu
has been up to. Sabotaging the competition. I bet next week he starts telling us how much he likes Portland on his brand new blog. It all sounds a little to “Talented Mr Ripley” to me.
For the record I own that movie, but have never watched it.
Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.
why not just dump to whole team at the hospital
and get warehouse pricing? You know, get Raef some bionic knees and Sergi and Handle while your at it…
Dunking on your head.

2485649 seconds until first preseason game!
Wait that’s off-topic, sorry-Channing get well soon!!
And once again it's great we have a deep team that can compensate (for stretches)
Roy is hurt during pre-season? Play more Rudy.
Frye will be hurt for a couple of games? Play more Diogu, Outlaw,…
This might be a good moment to remember people Ike can (at least could, he also returns from a few injuries) play pretty smooth for a big man and has some moves to add to his physical back to the basket game:

Odenied: Asked whether he noticed Oden favoring his right knee, Frye dismissed it entirely. "He favors dunking on your head, that's what he favors."

Didn't you have a plan to MRI, CT and scope all players at the end of each season?
Or was that Mortimer? The more I think about it, I’m all for mandatory maintenance check-ups before debriefing to the summer off-season.

Oil and filter changes as well

The upside
is that Channing will have more time to entertain us with his blog posts.
I shoot layups like they're jumpers.
My world is an ocean of sorrow,
Will my Blazers be hobbling tomorrow?
15 players, all healthy I beg,
To hoist up the trophy we’ll need 30 legs!

We only have 14
definitely on the roster.
Really, all that happened here is that Channing doesn’t favor having Greg dunk on his head, and found a way out.
The most amazing thing about my amazing ego is I have amazingly little about which to be egotistical.
Yeah - some guys will do anything to avoid TC with Sarge

Early arrivals
I think its great the team arrives a month and a half early but is it too much?
