It was very nice of Greg and the team to invite Oregon Mentors to this party. Me and one other adult leader took a van of middle and high school kids up from Medford. There were games (ping-pong, foos, Guitar Hero, etc) on the concourse and the court was open too.

Greg walked from game to game, played for a while, and moved to the next game. The best memory for me was during a round of the game “Knockout”. Greg was competing, but he took it easy and was geting the other guys out with freethrows. One of the older kids Greg was trying to get out used the tactic of knocking Greg’s ball out to the 3-point line. It came right to one of my boys who tossed it back to Greg. Greg then spun and jammed the ball home to the cheers of the mentees and mentors.

Greg is very laid back and I’m glad he took the time to hang out with some kids who need a little adult attention. Our kids had a great time!
