LMA = Beaver Fan
Didn't see a post anywhere else on here about this, and it's slow enough right now that I think this might be an interesting discussion. Last night our beloved, soon-to-be-all-star, power forward was sighted in Corvallis, on the side lines, with our Beavers.
I remember reading an article on O-Live yesterday about how USC always has celebrities on their side line, and how other programs don't have that hollywood flare. Well, damnit, we had LMA... that's pretty much the coolest celebrity in my book.
Onto the part that relates to our Blazers. LMA has no reason to be a Beaver fan, I mean I know Texas colors are similar, but there has to be another reason. So, I am going to go out on a limb and say that he is embracing other Oregon athletics. And damnit, I am thrilled to hear that. I know we love our Blazers, but it brings me much joy to know that they are learning to love our state back.
In closing, Go Beavs, Go Blazers!

Oooohhhhh
Maybe TiH is Matt from Blog-A-Bull.
I think they don’t just rec because they want everyone to know it was them that rec’d it.
And then sometimes they actually forget to rec it. And that’s really embarrassing if you say “rec” and then don’t do it. I think. Being basically a perfect kind of guy, I would never do that.
But if you say +1 and then forget to rec it, you can pretend that you never meant to.
Or something.
The difficult thing for me is the past tense of “rec”. Is it “rec’d” or “recced” or “reced”?
And don’t tell me it is something longer, because the plural is “recs”, the site says so. When everyone “recs” a post to turn it green, it will say “5 recs”. It doesn’t say “5 recommends”, it says “5 recs”. So all you grammar nuts out there, I don’t want to hear it here.

Are we cursed, or something?
Does the entire SC football team need viagra or something to get it going against teams they’re “supposed” to beat? We cream the “good” OSU, and then get caught with our pants down by the “bad” OSU? The worst thing about it is that we’re pretty much the only team in the Pac 10 that was in the national picture at all, and now that’s probably shot too. So depressing….
WHY DID THEY HAVE TO SAY OSU IS SOOOO BAD! THAT THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF WINNING THIS GAME! THIS IS WHAT ALWAYS HAPPENS….GAAAAAAH!
Possibly the saddest thing about this is that Canzano was in Corvallis while doing his daily BFT, and he mentioned the fact that local OSU fans weren’t going to the game, and that there were like 2000+ empty seats.
Well, hopefully we still have a shot at getting back into the title game. We have to win all of the other games, and hope that the SEC and Big 12 really do hammer each other.

Duck Fan was Present
I got coerced into going, as well, but i brought my Duck gear and wore it with pride. Took more flak than all the USC fans i saw! Regardless, i went merely to watch the No. 1 team in the nation and console my Beaver friends during the massacre. I didn’t think i’d be put in the position where i was beside myself in the 4th trying to figure out who i was going to cheer for! Didn’t expect that to have to be a problem. Then consider my next conundrum as i realized that if the Beavers won, they were rushing the field and my ride was going with them. Not having a cell phone on me and not knowing where he lived or parked, i pleaded with him to stay to no avail and was forced to storm the field on his coat tails. For those of you on the field who did double takes at the Duck die hard in the pack, now you know why.

Turn in your Duck gear. You're through.
A real Duck would never have joined a Beav celebration. You could have walked home. It’s only 40 miles, you weenie. Or maybe you could get one of your new Beaver friends to drive you there.

I'm sick of rushing the field/court
It is unsafe. I don’t understand why it is done. I don’t care if ESPN is interviewing the wining quarter back/center at the 50 yard line/half court with fans running all around, I say tear gas them.
I hate it when fans rush the field, just because they beat a ranked team. At least OSU beat the #1 team, but it was a conference rival, and they beat USC at home not too long ago. I hate it when Duck fans do it too.

Beavers are hardly that bad
They lost to Stanford, who they should have beat, no doubt, but it was the first game of the year and we’re notorious for our slow starts, instead of fading at the end.
Penn State is good. Like really really good……..going into that hostile environment was pretty tough.
Beavers end the season with a better record than the Ducks.

The Boise State loss isn't a big deal
They’re a good program and the Ducks have some issues at quarter back. I’m not making excuses, and I’m actually happy for Boise State. Upsets happen. I am a firm believer in the team with the experienced quarter back is the team that will normally win the Pac 10. I expected this year to be a learning year for both the Ducks and the Beavers.

It's the Rodgers Connection...
Lamarcus went to high school in Texas near the two Rodgers boys. He was there to support the record holder for most TDs in a career in the state of Texas, Jacquizz Rodgers and of course his big bro James too.
I was there and LMA was proudly strolling the sidelines and was featured on the JumboTron a few times. It was nice to see him be a part of all the excitement Wow…what a freakin great game, better than the ’06 win because we handled the trojans like no one thought we could.
