Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

Season Tix are IN!

I wanted to title this post "The New Phone Books are here, the New Phone Books are here", but it was too long, and I wasn't sure enough people are old enough to catch the reference, but for those that are, that's how geeked I am to see my tickets, which means the season is NOT too far off!

I thought I'd put up this post to see how many BEdgers are also Season Ticket holders...  (Or, like me, Half Season Ticket Holders)...  (Well, OK, if you count the other four guys that are sharing them with me, I guess I'm a 1/10 of a season ticket holder, but still....   I gots my tix!

Also, I was wondering while reading the Rudy at the Airport posts, and reading about people excited about meeting other BEdgers, if perhaps we could arrange to meet some time (perhaps before a game at Shonz' Place)?

Anybody?  Bueller?  Anybody?

i DON'T HAVE MINE YET!!!

My note says that they won’t be arriving until 10/25/08 due to a strike issue, so they sent me the preseason tickets which my friends now have.

Yeah, mine too!

Preseason’s arrived a week or so ago for me, but the regular season I thought wasn’t even being printed for several weeks due to the dispute and vendor change. Crazy, did they being the run prior to the dispute and a few got out?

preseason only.....

Has anyone in the past been to that fan night event they are having next friday? Scrimmage, plus autographs? Curious if anyone knows how that goes down.

by doggpound84 on Sep 25, 2008 4:55 PM PDT reply actions

The scrimmage...

I’m usually running a little late but I think that there might be autographs from the players if you get there early enough. I know that the stunt team and cheer leaders are usually around for autos and photo ops.

For the scrimmage they first do stretches, sometimes with kids from the stands, and then warm up drills, where you get some wicked dunks from some of the players. After that is a Black team versus white team scramble. Its fun to watch once it gets going. It’s kind of like waking up Christmas morning and getting the Christmas stocking out but knowing that you can’t wait to open the real presents.

On second thought, what are they autographing?

Got mine today

Half season including the pre-season games. In a UPS bag which I found tucked under my doormat.

I hope I'm one of the lucky ones

who gets all of their tickets. Especially since there are some anxious BEdgers out there that are waiting for me to send them.

By the way visionary1, if you only have 3 games and there are 44 home games, does that really make you a 1/10th of a season ticket holder?

Season Ticket holder!!!

Last night was perfect!!! Watched the Beavers take down USC, and right before we were leaving my house to go downtown and party i found the UPS shipment at my door all day (SCARY!)

Opened it up and BAMMMM!!! SECTION 106 ROW M!!! (Half Season "A")

I most likely won’t be able to find dates for EVERY game (nor could i afford it!) so if you would like to buy tickets let me know. Hit me up by email Drewdizzle8172000@yahoo.com

GO BLAZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like I'm leaving work early...

Thanks Marty. I figure its a good idea to get there early. I want to get as many autographs as possible.

Season Tickets

Failed Delivery attempt last night but UPS will be returning today and I’ve told them to take my tickets to the office of my apartment complex for me to get when I get off of work!

(no I won’t share where I live) I know at least 3 of you that might just beat me to the office. lol

Anyway I have half season tickets (2) for section 326 this year. I’d be happy to exchange my two tickets to anyone on any given game to move down and get closer to the action if someone has a a spare ticket available for a given night.

I’d be up for meeting up before a game sometime to! You can find me at cudashots@gmail.com or on myspace.com/roysblazers

got them yesterday

I got the half season A package in 228. So excited. Package A got 1 preseason game as opposed to 2 for the B package, and we also got the Cavs, Celtics, and Heat. No opener or finale though.

I am going to trade my Bobcats tix back for the game with Orlando in December to watch Greg dunk on Dwight Howard. Now I just need to get my hands on the season opener, and I will be a happy man.

Go Blazers!!!

call your sales rep

I didn’t get opening tickets either (half season pack) but on Monday they are releasing single game tix to season ticket holders (including halfs). Your sales rep can pick some up for you. They aren’t very good (Tan section behind the hoops) but it’s better than nothing.

one day after they went on sale and my rep sighned me up for two. Worked great.

Your rep signed you up for extra tickets?

I like my rep less and less each year.

Sergio will explode this year as the best NBA player ever and will take revenge impregnating all Portland and Blazers with the "chocolate" word.

Package A/B

Yeah A gets you the Cavs/Celtics and Heat…

But B gets you the opener… the finale. I also don’t have tickets on Christmas Day unlike last year with my Package. It was bittersweet the game was great , but leaving family and friends to go to a game and missing out on all the food stunk. lol

Plus still get to see San Antonio, Orlando (D.Howard) New Oreleans (C.Paul)Detroit… Dallas….L.A. and Denver…. Utah!

Truthfully I’ll wind up going to most every game one way or another, but I definately like my package this year. lol and now that you’ve seen it I bet you do to! (oops sorry if that crossed the line) ;)

My Quarter Season

“Roy Package” came in the mail today.

by Avoozl on Sep 26, 2008 9:00 PM PDT reply actions

Half and Quarter tickets

These tickets I believe are done in house with the generic three Blazer player background ( I know a half season ticket holder that go his), While the full season tixs have in the past featured different Blazers on each ticket. This is probably why full season ticket holders have not recieved their tickets yet.

Full Season tix

Full season come with commemorative binders and other features that they don’t do for the half/quarter season packages. Those are the only tix effected by the vendor change this year.

Anxiously awaiting another awesome achievement

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside.
