Blazer Retro Apparel

In preparation for the upcoming season, I want to upgrade the Blazer garb a bit.

Anyone know where you can pick up some retro Blazer apparel?  Online or at a store....

I'm no hipster, but I'd love to find some one of a kind Blazer merchandise from the old days!

It would be great to find that one of a kind old school t-shirt that makes even my fellow diehard Blazer's Edge fans ask, "WHERE did you find that shirt?"

(Some fresh out of the box Drexler Kangaroos might also do the trick)

Unfortunately, all my own old Blazer apparel long ago met its match!

Ebay is a good place to start

Lots of old stuff on sale. Surprisingly, check the goodwill stores in the portlan area. I have found some early 90s stuff there in this decade, like the cariacture heads on the blazer team t-shirts from 1991.
If you have money and want to get some real vintage stuff… www.mitchellandness.com
Not cheap but I have some of their stuff. High quality and THE namebrand for throwbacks.

Scarves

I’ve been jonesing for a Blazer scarf. Something similar to what many soccer and rugby clubs have. I’m pretty sure that it’d be a successful item in Portland, too. I’ve looked several times to no avail. Even sent several emails to the Blazers, via different departments, and spoken with a couple reps on the phone about it. Always lots of promises to pass it on, and most include, “Yeah, you’re right, that’s a great idea!” Alas, still no scarf….

I think I still have one

If I can find it in the closet, it’s from the ’80s, red and black of course

If you’re interested, let me know

Ooh, yes! yes!

I’d love it! Email me: captstompsalot yahoo com
We can work it out there. Thank you so much, Mr. Larue!

Although, I think my point still stands that the Blazers should make and sell scarves.

A Timbers Army scarf is always a welcome sight.

Can’t buy ’em, though.

Oh a trip down memory lane.

I wish I still had my “Mercy, Mercy, Jerome Kersey” T-shirt, worn thin and threadbare until it vanished in a cloud of red and black dust.

oh man

I had the same shirt. AND MY NAME’S LUKE.

What are the odds?

I had this shirt that said “I wanna be like Mike” but Mike was crossed out and it said “CLYDE!” instead. Sweet elementary school garb that I’d probably wear now that I’m a hipster

Dude

I’ve found some grabs on ebay … and I need to unload an xtra-small vintage 76-77 championship T-shirt.
I might post it up there on the ebay this weekend.
I got it thinking, oh yeah, I wear a small/medium. But no, this is a small-small-small.
totally vintage and in pretty good shape.

Also, scope my avatar. I found the ring on ebay for $12. I mentioned it here and looked again at another one for sale that was suddenly going for $36!
Watch out, your BE buddies are also competitors for this gear.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
