Sacramento Kings vs Blazers now on Sale

The closest road game is Sacramento.  The November 21 game is now on sale in a special pre-sales event through Ticketmaster.  It is good until September 25.  After that you can still buy tickets, but this is before they go on sale through normal channels.

Be sure to enter the pass-code displaying on the top right when prompted to do so.

How sad is it that our closest rival

is in another division.

Just for kicks here is the distance between portlan and all its division rival cities followed by all the Pacfic division rivals:

NW division:
Salt Lake City 825 miles
Denver 983 miles
Minneapolis 1427 miles
Oklahoma city 1487 mIles

Pacific division:
Sacramento 483 miles
Golden state 533miles
Los Angeles 825 miles
Phoenix:1006 miles

That’s right 4 out of 5 Pacific rivals are closer than all but one NW division rival. I guess that’s good for all fans frequent flier miles.

The league should return the Blazers to the Pacific division

and move the Suns to the Southwest division and move the Thunder to the Northwest division and rename it the North division. I don’t see it happening until Shaq retires — got to milk that Shaq-Kobe rivalry until the teat runs dry — but maybe after that. Lakers-Blazers is going to be the top rivalry between 2010 and 2015 anyway.

Nice map!

Except Arizona should be purple and Tennessee should be green.

Works either way.

I just want the Blazers back in the Pacific.

Salt Lake is close for me :)

I’ll be checking out at least one games here!

that and I’m scheduled to see 7 games in portland and the finals if it happens this year! I’m a hoping that the western confernece will be UTAH vs Portland… lot’s of flying, but totally worth it if i could get the tickets in utah.

Ford: Bill, you're claiming victory already? Have you had a "Mission Accomplished" banner printed yet?

I thought I was at Blazers Edge

but apparently my web browser got re-routed to Craigslist.

Thanks, but no thanks.
