HoopsHype Article
Am I first? I haven't been first in anything around here for awhile ... ever since I got laid off from my job I just haven't had the time to surf the net. If that isn't irony then I don't know what is ...

I haven't had a chance to read it, but it looks pretty flattering. If I'm wrong, then I'm sure you all will let me know.
Cheers,

It is a good article
Norsktroll pointed it out in the junk drawer earlier…but yeah, it is definitely a good read.

Rats.
Sorry. I don’t read the dunk jrawer very much. If someone wants me to delete this fanpost they can say so. Otherwise I’ll leave it up since I haven’t posted anything for awhile.

Leave it up!
Like you, I don’t read the junk drawer very often, and this is the first I’ve heard of this article. It’s a good article, I just don’t know why he put Webster at the 2 and Roy at the 3. Not that that’s too important, but if you put the two of them side by side, it’s pretty easy to say Webster is the small forward and Roy is the guard. But oh well. It’s fun sometimes (and sometimes frustrating) to see the nation media show their ignorance of our team. I don’t want to see anymore of Bo Outlaw’s picture as Travis on espn, or at yahoo sports. That junk is just inexcusable.

I didn't post it first, Mike-Fu had it, he just couldn't provide the link
It’s basically a collection of one liners on all the players, so not much news but a nice overview on the status. And of course we see again that the Blazers are getting recognition in the media as an up and coming team (like the inclusion of Outlaw and Rudy in ESPN’s rookie/newcomer candidates).
Odenied: Asked whether he noticed Oden favoring his right knee, Frye dismissed it entirely. "He favors dunking on your head, that's what he favors."

One phrase in there....SWEET
I don’t know about all y’all, but one of the last sentences was music to my ears….it’s nice to be back to being the “nobody will want to face this team in the playoffs” kind of team.

Okay article
It was an okay overview article providing a high level look at the Blazer personnel.
The author’s credibility—in Blazer knowledge—took a hit for me when he penned Webster in the starting backcourt (implying shooting guard) and Roy in the starting frontcourt (implying small forward.) That’s the reverse of last years starting positions and there is little reason to think that’ll change for this year.
I’m more looking forward to the upcoming DraftExpress article on the Blazers. DE is currently covering the NBA NW Division has already provided in-depth analysis of the Nuggets and Jazz.

Nice overall look
A lot of times these guys will screw something up, but I think this article hit it right on the broadside of the barn.
Well done.

More like POOPSHYPE
ZING!!!
But seriously, this article is OK, I guess, but it definitely does not give any new information whatsoever. This was basically a paraphrasing of many articles that came first and were better written.
"Jerryd is straight ahead at you. Rudy dips around. Jerryd is a rock. Rudy is the wind. Jerryd loves the ball in his hands. Rudy moves without it. Jerryd defends by getting up in your grill. Rudy plays the spaces in between. Jerryd has focused vision. Rudy sees all around him. Jerryd likes to score off of the dribble. Rudy can catch and shoot. Jerryd is aggressive. Rudy is sneaky. Jerryd will hit you hard. Rudy will annoy you until you hit him." -Dave
