Allright BEdgesters, calling all cars here. Sure the season's still a month or so away but I am freaking out about my TV options. Gone are the days of me being a snarky Portland Comcast customer who always had a Blazers broadcast waiting for him on his TiVo when he came home from work. No, my proffession has cast me out east into Bend and my Blazer viewing options are now covered in a dark cloud of mystery, intrigue, and good-for-nothing internet search engines.
Now, on my cable line-up (bendbroadband) there is a channel called BLZR. I have recieved conflicting reports about this channel. Some people I have spoken with have told me that it did not work last year due to CSN. Others have told me that it plays every game. A quick trip to the bendbroadband website showed a Blazers Channel on it with a link. A link to information about the channel? A link to a special, Bend-only broadcast schedule? NO! A link to the Blazers home page, where I can find a plethora of information regarding the Blazers broadcast schedule in PORTLAND! Aaargghh!
Please, does anyone out there know the truth? Is this some sort of karma pay-back for my single, care-free year of enjoying 82 free television broadcasts? I promise to write a letter to Comcast and every dish provider know to man if someone helps me out with this. Even if I have to get the league pass - that's cool (lord knows I spent enough money on that package when I lived on the east coast, staying up till 1am watching Z-Bo, Telfair and Co. stinking up the court). Please, the truth must be out there somewhere...and you are just the right people for the job.
