The hard core of Blazersedge, those whose lifes march by the Junk Drawer, deserves some exclusives, even going on topic.
José Ortiz, Sergio´s agent, has talked to Spanish sport newspaper Marca about Sergio´s situation, answering to the journalist concerns about the supposed Blazers´interest for “Livingstone” and its obvious meaning. Mr Ortiz thinks that if the Blazers didn´t trade Sergio it means they like him. Mr Ortiz said, according to Marca, “there are between 5% and 10% chances for the Blazers getting Livingstone”, because " there are four teams with much more money that are looking for an starting PG”. He said that they are not worried about it because “they can´t do anything about it” and suposedly, according to Marca, Mr Ortiz couldn´t answer about if Livingston joining the Blazers might be good or bad for Sergio. I actually think these guys of Marca talked in English and couldn´t understand very well, maybe they didn´t learnt at Blazersedge ;-), because the next José Ortiz´s statement is: "If he comes (Livingston), it´s clear that the scene changes. Portland should take decisions.” One decision, between many others, might be to trade Sergio, he said. When asked about Sergio´s opinion about a trade his answer was “It is never known” (?) (Who knows). José Ortiz said “Nate Mc Millan was not very fair with Segio last season” but he also stated that his first season Nate didn´t act that bad with him, “he gave him 14 minutes per game and they could be more if he wasn´t injured”. He also said that “the Blazers have complimented Sergio on his work”, “this year he has worked more than ever” (I think I translated this correctly, because in Spanish we say, paradoxically, “more than never”). “Sergio wants to take advantage of any opportunity he might have”.
