Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

This site has come along way.

I was bored when little news was coming in so I went back to read some archive posts of Lance on this site and Dave over when he was doing Blazer Thoughts and it's amazing to see how both sort of merged and evolved into this great community. It's also neat to see that both sites started right before the team began to turn around so it was very interesting to follow the evolution from the end of 05-06 and see how the whole perception of this franchise changed before our very eyes. Super stoked that Dave and Ben are doing such a great job continuing this legacy of by far the greatest blazer site out there. The ride is about to begin so I'm just gonna fasten my seatbelt.

this fanshot setup is baaad!

(our) great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit, our system of of credit is privately concentrated, the growth of our nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men... who necessarily, by very reason of their own limitations, chill and check and destroy genuine economic freedom.

We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world - no government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and the duress of small groups of dominant men.

It's been a long way/road/time

Why do these phrases always make me think about this (in-)famous intro video?

Yes, I also went back a while, especially to early 2007 leading into the draft. Good times getting better.

Yeah

I’m always amazed at how many people actively post on this blog…. I think it can be credited to the integrity that is encouraged in fanposts and the level of professionalism in the main posts.

Many thanks

I enjoy this site (almost) every day as well. That makes it interesting for me to keep doing it.

Alas, I think it’s all Timbo and jscot.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
