Remember that we had C Ömer Asik for a few minutes on draft night 2008?

Good we traded him, otherwise we would be lamenting another injury now: He busted ligaments in his knee and is done for much of the season.

"In a three-team trade, Chicago acquires the draft rights to Ömer Asik from Portland; Portland acquires a second-round pick in 2009 from Denver plus two future second-round picks from Chicago; and Denver acquires the draft rights to Sonny Weems from Chicago."

The options for those 2nd round picks

Is only as limited as the borders of our imagination.

Add on to a trade to make it go down smooth, keep stockpiling Euros overseas, get that diamond in a rough that fell in the draft, get that yearly Carl Landry/Paul Millsap, etc.

The more picks the merrier! If we don’t got space for ’em, make a deal or get a Euro.
