Are the Blazers considering signing Steven Hill?

PrintI just got back from the movies tonight at lloyd theatre. As I was coming out of the building I see Channying Frye talking with a few fans or some friends. Next to him was a pretty tall guy with a full head of hair, beard didn't seem too long. I sort of asked myself aloud is that Steven Hill and then he turned around and stared at me for a second. I think he might have been shocked I recognized him but I'm pretty sure it was him.
I had been out of town for about 10 days before last Sunday, so has there been any news about that last roster spot? Do the Blazers need a 3rd back up center? I would never guess Steven Hill and Channing Frye hang out.

They plan to work out Oden with Hill and Channing while Joel isn't there yet
Supposedly they will keep him around for training purposes, but not give him a roster spot / guaranteed contract. But I think that was discussed already yesterday, search the older posts.
