A poll for the Prime Away Game Bar Location?
How about if I make a poll for everyone to vote for the best spot for serious Blazer fans to congregate during away games? I got Claudia's and Cheerful Tortoise. Does anyone have a third choice for the poll? The goal is to have the bar be packed with die hard Blazer fans, especially during away games. Pick a place that is in Central Portland, so it's not far for everyone. Then I'll put a poll out, once I figure it out.

Maybe I can convince my friend Michael to attend. He lives right near Glisan.

hey great idea
I know a cool place in SE Portland but I was there only a couple times and I live in Eugene so I don’t know the name or the address or how to get there. Sorry I’m no help. But I’ll kick it with my homeez wherever you say. I’ll even drive up to Portland if Fan1 (you know who I mean, guys) is gonna be there.
Winning is everything.

I might have a solution
I’m a huge zers fan and I created a website about a month ago that searches for bars and restaurants by the teams they support.
I swear I am not trying to spam, a buddy of mine turned me on to this thread a couple of hours ago and I just thought I could help. We are still in beta, but the search for bars works great. You can search groups, bars, and people by teams. you can become a member an do a whole bunch of stuff, or not log in and search. Let me know what you think. we are looking for feedback before we launch.
here is the link for the search: http://www.fanspan.com/go/view/watchsites
and for the site: www.fanspan.com

The smoking quotient puts off many, but . . .
. . . for in-game ambience, you cannot beat The Marathon.
Retired industrial pensioners in mesh trucker caps (who never noticed that mesh trucker caps
became trendy, and then passe again) muttering into their half-pitchers, “Ahhhhh, Damon’s a punk”.
Just a fantastic sports bar experience, really.
Blazers have a five-on-three...and they pull it back and wait for help.

I vote cheerful tortoise
They got about 500 TV’s so everyone gets a good seat. The beer is priced about right and the food is exceptable. Plus, two years ago we went there for breakfast and got 6 free 200 level tickets to the blazer vs suns game that night. It was the night Zach hit the half court shot and a baseline three to seal a blazer W… Good times….
