Schedule comes out tommorow - 9 AM
According to wheels, all signs point to it coming out tommorow. So it seems very very likely it'll be out by noon tommorow..this is great, we can finally see what rumors come out true.
i hope Lakers vs. Blazers one is true, I'm too hyped for it now, so it would suck if it wasn't real..
Also I'm hearing now it's 16 of 24 of our games being on the road to start the season, seems more realistic than the 18 of 21 one..
Hopefully we'll see who's right tommorow

Good something positive to talk about.
I just spent the last hour on that Love through loss thread. I am excited to see who Oden debuets against.

Schedule.
I’m assuming you mean noon our time? Either way, I’m gonna be logged on all day at work and will definetely post it, or respond to whoever posts it, asap. I would LOVE a HOME opener VS the L*akers.

the exact time tommorow Wheels didn't mention
but he sounded sort of giddy and in a wink wink mood when mentioning it might come out before Canzano show starts on radio, so around noon is likely
if this is somehow wrong, kill wheels not me lol (though i really think it’s true, since wheels felt it will and he’s legit)

Pressure Wheels!
Someone call into the “Wheels After Work” show just after 6pm for “Sports Graffiti” and demand some inside info!
I’d do it but I’m still at work at 6pm.

I have sources
Don’t quote me on this, because I don’t want to reveal my sources, but I heard that we will have 41 home games and 41 away this year. If that’s the case, then I’m gonna lose it. That is so unfair.

Wheels just said on 95.5...
...that there will be “Very interesting games on very interesting days”. He also said they would have the schedule before the 3:00 show. But it must be out if he’s saying stuff like that…JUST GIVE IT TO US ALREADY!

I found a few pieces
Denver does not open at home, but against some team in the NW Div…
According to multiple NBA sources, the Nuggets will start the 2008-09 season with two Western Conference road games, including the opener against a Northwest Division opponent.[snip]
League sources confirmed Tuesday that the Nuggets will play a New Year’s Eve game in Toronto.

Not correct
I already posted above that Denver opens against an (unnamed) Northwest Division team. (Unless the Rocky Mountain News got it wrong.)

Beating a Melo-less Nuggets wouldn't be a bad start to get in front of a rival
Less fun, but definitely good for our playoff aspirations.

Atlanta opens on the road
“The Hawks’ reward for finally making the playoffs after nine years is an opening stretch to the 2008-09 season that includes six of their first eight games on the road.
The Hawks open the season Oct. 29 in Orlando against the defending Southeast Division champions. They face five playoff teams in their first eight games.”
