No video? Get the DivX Web Player for Windows or Mac

So, I quickly made a little Rudy highlight video from Saturday night's game between Spain and USA. I only had twenty minutes to make it, so don't be too harsh on the editing, etc...

For those of you who wanted to see more than just "the dunk"... here ya go.

UPDATE: I've replaced the big quicktime file with a divx file. This is a fraction of the file size. If you can't view it, you can download the codec at http://www.divx.com

UPDATE: I've uploaded to google. Let's see how long it stays before it's pulled by NBC...

beautiful...

Thank you for this!!! This guy will truly be an asset.

The scene where he takes the three pointer two times immediately after another from the same spot is impressive

Not too many guys would have the courage, fearing they would look like an idiot if they miss also the second.

Nice job on the video, and in good quality.

Odenied: Asked whether he noticed Oden favoring his right knee, Frye dismissed it entirely. "He favors dunking on your head, that's what he favors."

After that scene and after the dunk on Howard you can also see Kobe lifting his arms standing helplessly around the perimeter

Priceless. Don’t know if he is lamenting his own poor defense or that of his teammates. Probably the latter.

Haha

That was my exact comment on the YouTube video of The Dunk.

Good video, sagebru5h. A rec for you.

I can't watch it

what player is it trying to use?

It's a big file, so it takes a while to load

Hit play, turn the sound down, leave the window open, and come back to it in half an hour. You won’t be sorry.

Holy cow--it is freakin' huge!

I have lightning internet and it is going to take weeks to download this haha

What’s the band by the way? It sounds familiar.

The band is City Sleeps

it’s from the Resident Evil: Extinction soundtrack.

Thanks for shrinking it

and thanks for the song name. I guess I’m nuts…never seen or heard any resident evil stuff….they sound a lot a cross between “The Afters” and “Leeland”

Ahh...maybe I should have watched until the end of the video :-)

lol…once again though, great vid.

sorry.

like i said, after locating all of Rudy’s clips, I literally threw this together in a timeline in about 15 minutes, so I didn’t fine tune anything… including the music. I’ll be sure to keep the music level down when/if I do another highlight video.

Thanks for the complement none the less.

lol

The level of music was fine, I was actually critiquing the song choice.

Phenomenal

Rudy is fun to watch, that’s for sure. The game itself was sick, and watching all Rudy’s highlights back to back is REALLY impressive. That alley oop off the pick and roll is going to be hard to stop with Oden…

Here’s hoping BRoy doesn’t mind guarding SFs! Bayless-Rudy-Roy-LMA/Frye-Oden = juggernaut on offense, if they’re capable of matching up on D…

Great stuff

Thanks for that. I can’t get any MSNBC video over here, and the BBC just showed the game, but you can’t get highlights anywhere. That was needed.

Can you put this up on Youtube please?

Or Google video? Or any other video sharing site that will load faster?

It gets pulled from YouTube before it even gets published.

I’ll try and compress it more. Perhaps I’ll try DivX.

great video. thanks for listing!!

I wanted to see a bunch of those other plays & could not find them anywhere. Would be great if it could be hosted on youtube or similar site. Thanks & great job.

Fantastic Job on the video! And rudy ain't bad either.

Sage,

Great job on that video, I love it! I got the video of the Spanish Broadcast and the camera angle is from the oppostite half of the court, just in case you want a copy so you can make a mirror image movie and put them back to back. That dunk looked just as impressive from the other side of the court!

Oh Rudy, How I wish I were as good looking as you, Lord knows I already have similar basketball skills, Not.
