That would be a great one!
I bet it was loud there. I was watching from T.V. Having three kids has greatly reduced the number of games I have been too.
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

Hey OC...
I take it you live in O.C.? I live on Redland Rd., have 1/2 season of tix and sometimes my friends/employees/wife can’t make the games. Interested? No cost to you.

I was also at that Denver game
That was the loudest game I have ever been at (never been to a playoff game….yet). It was awesome. I got the quarter season- Weekend package last year and it was loaded with December games (I also bought the x-mas game ala carte). I got super lucky on that and saw almost every home game in the streak

Living abroad ...
... for so long, it’s always a joy to see any game.
Last year I caught us at New Orleans. We got KILLED if you recall, but before the game I got to chat with Martell and “bump” fists with JJack, and Steve Blake. I had great seats (via the city of New Orleans, thank you very much) and loved every minute of being essentially courtside, even though we got rocked.
Better, was seeing the Blazers thump those ugly, nasty Nets in New Jersey last year. Had damn good seats for that one too due to the Net’s lagging fanbase. The chick came around and was like: “You want some of these ‘thunder sticks’” when the Blazers were to shoot free throws on our end of the floor. Me and my Portland buddy gave her a look like, “Hell, no.” that phrase may have been uttered, I don’t recall. Anyway, it was great.
Seeing the Blazers rock the Knicks at MSG last year was a treat too. I got to take my girlfriend to her first Blazers game and she (slowly) has become a fan. Good stuff. That was near the end of the “Fire Issieha” craze and the NY fans were chanting before halftime.
Favorite game attended? Can’t say. I don’t even remember who we played last time I saw a game at the Rose Garden. Too many years.

I didnt like the outcome overall,
but the greatest game I ever went to was in 2003. The playoff game right after the Maurice Cheeks save during the national anthem, he was a classy guy who i greatly respected by the way. The Blazers were down 0-3 in the series vs. Dallas. Everybody was expecting us to just fall over and die for this game and surrender the series. But we ended up making a great comeback and the Garden was rocking. I remember during about a 10 minute span the whole Rose Garden, even the box seats, were involved in a big wave. I then went on to see the next game, game six, at the Rose Garden as well. I remember them winning that and me practically crying when we failed to make history and lost to Steven Nash in game 7. Since then I have carried a slight hatred for the Mavs, and David Stern coverboy, Steve Nash.

I moved the following year to Phoenix
Since then the only games I have gone to are the ones when my Blazers come down here. I love it, I get to see them dominate Steve Nash and Shaquille O’Neal at the same time now.

This year...1st Lakers game.
There 10 game win streak comes to an end. Broy had 12 assists, LMA had 22 points. Great all around game by the Blazers something like 29 assists and 6 TOs all game.
It was great seeing all the Laker fans leave disappointed too.

Blazers vs Sonics
My favorite game ever attended was in the 90-91 season. It was the first round of the playoffs, series tied 2-2 (the first round at the time was best of 5) Game 5 in the Memorial Coliseum. I was 11 years old at the time, and it is still the greatest game I have ever seen in person. It actually ended up being a rout in the Blazers favor, but that is by far the loudest event I have ever been to. Add to that the fact that they handed out pink, yes PINK, hats to every fan entering the game. Also, on the way out of the parking lot leaving the game, Jerome Kersey was driving out in the car right behind us. When we realized who it was, we started honking the horn and acting like fools trying to get his attention. At first Kersey was pissed and flipped us the bird, then we rolled down a window and stuck a Blazer flag out the window and waved it around, he got a big smile on his face and gave us a wave. It was this game that made me a life long Blazer fan.

Fist Laker game
Went with my good buddy Josh. A young girl, maybe 12 or so sat next to us and informed us that this was her first game. Her dad was with her and he looked super full of pride. I decided that I was gonna make this game memorable. So, we got her 6 thunder sticks! He got her an Oden Jersey and we taught her all the chants! We gave a detailed scouting report of every player and how to say KOBE SUCKKSSS!!!!!
Of course the Garden was loud as heck. A Laker fan asked me for my phone number and I profanley informed him that I am not a Hoebag and would never give my # to a Faker.
Best part when Brandon did the behind the back and dished to Blake for 3! The place exploded.
Ok another GREAT game was the Utah game after the streak ended when Web went for 25 in the quarter. He was on point and the place got sooooo loud I couldn’t even hear the music..crazy.

Two Memorable Ones
Back in 89 (I think), I made to a Blazer-Utah playoff game with a buddy of mine. The Memorial Coliseum was ROCKIN’...i was blown away by how big Karl Malone’s shoulders were! The energy is what made it memorable…experiencing BlazerMania first hand!
Then, the last game of the year against the L#kers, 2004. It was a triple overtime game with Kobe killing us with clutch shots. I remember Damon Stoudamire addressing the crowd, telling everyone that we’d be back in the playoffs soon (this was the year that broke the consecutive playoff appearance run).

My favorite game
and the only one I ever went to at the Rose Garden was the Martell 24-point special against Utah from last season. AAAAAAHHH it was GLORIOUS.

+1
I was at that game too, and it was all the more special because Roy went out for the entire 2nd half, and it seemed like we were going to lose. Then all of a sudden, Marty comes out firing from downtown, and wills us back into the game. Then travis took over in the 4th, and we rolled to a win, it was B-E-A-UTIFUL.
I'm a rec whore, so sue me.

An absolutely electrifying experience. It was so cool to see the Rose Garden rocking again. It had been too long. :-)
I also had the privilege of attending an overtime playoff game against Utah in 1996. The Blazers even won. :-) It was awesome how loud the garden got.

Kermit Washington lobs to billy Ray Bates
Yup, I was there. It was like somebody pushed the 10,000 volt shock the fans out of their seats button. Dawkins and Jones just went to sleep on D and Billy Ray just cut to the hoop to catch a pass that was so perfect that even Dave could have made the shot!

This season
It had to be near the end the second time we played the lakers here. Nothing better than seeing the laker fans leave the game early with their heads hanging low after the Blazers just dominated the game. It was cool being there when the team stood up for BRoy too, the entire crowd gasps in horror then boo’s all at the same time that you couldn’t hear on tv when he went down. Roy of course gets a standing ovation when leaving the court and coming back from most people. The players were as into that game as the fans.

Preseason game in 1977 against the L@kers
Maurice Lucas drove and dunked over Kareem to win the game in the last seconds. It was the moment Blazer fans realized this team was going to do great things.
Asked his specialty in the kitchen, Oden paused and said, "Hamburger Helper and tuna fish."

I can't choose just one!
My first live game ever was in early 1984 vs. the Kansas City Kings (yes, I’m, uh, aging!). One of Clyde’s best games as a rookie: I think he went for 17 pts. and 7 rebs., and capped his night off with a breakaway steal that he took off from the foul line to dunk. It was amazing to see, even from my nose-bleed seat in the Coliseum. Oh, and the Kings’ Mark Olberding (the very definition of a journeyman white-dude forward) couldn’t miss from the perimeter.
My other choice (which I’ve referenced here before) was in Feb. 1998 vs. the Rockets, when the home crowd at the Garden tried to boo Isiah Rider out of the building (long story). The crowd was wildly appreciative, however, of Mr. Drexler as he was introduced in the final regular-season (and overall) game he ever played in Portland. I seriously doubt I’ll ever see a game under circumstances that bizarre again.

I was at the come from behind
against New Orleans a couple years back, with Zach and Jarrett Jack leading the charge. The Blazers came back from like 25 down or something to win the game. That was pretty thrilling.
In response to Modal above, I was at a game that was similar but different, when they retired Clyde’s Jersey in 2001(?) and the team stunk it up bad. I remember at halftime, Clyde was making a speech and trying to be diplomatic toward Bob Whitsitt, who he didn’t like, but couldn’t quite make himself sound completely convinced to the crowd about the team Trader Bob had assembled.

At McNichols in Denver in 97
I’ve never been able to see a game in Portland, but I have seen the team play 5 times on the road. My favorite was in Denver, because I got to sit right behind the Blazers bench. It was the first time I was close enough to hear the players trash-talk each other on the court, and I was in high school so I spent a month’s earnings on the tickets. It was awesome to rock the Strickland jersey at that game (which I still wear when playing on the court) and get a few autographs.
I’m looking forward to topping that experience by finally seeing a home game this year, as the wife approved a mini-vacation to catch a game. I can’t wait for the schedule to be released!

114-96
If you’re a Blazer fan and you don’t know the significance of those numbers, you should.
In the Blazer’s inaugural season (‘70-71) the World Champion New York Knicks came to Stumptown and left the MC with their collective tails between their legs.
That was the first Blazer game I attended, and it was a pretty big deal at the time
I haven’t been to too many games over the years, but I do remember a regular season comeback against the Rockets (I think, late 80’s, early 90s) where the Blazers were down by at least 24 in the second half and came all the way back to win it.
Then there was the game where Clyde caught an alley-oop pass from Porter that was too high and wide for a mere mortal to reach and threw it down, with authority.

My favorite was actually a preseason game.
I sat behind Rasheed Wallace. I couldn’t stop looking at the white spot on his head. That memory alone was worth it.
I want to be tucked in by Greg Oden and have him tell us stories about the old days.

Tough call
It was a tie between Game 5 of the Western Conference Semi’s when Pippen hit the 3 to win the series with 7 seconds left to send us to the fateful Western Conference Finals, or last year against Denver for our 10th win in a row… ... ... I’m going with the game last year because a.) we know how that 2000 WCF ended, and b.) last years (and this years) team is way closer to all of our hearts, and that was a very, very special game at a very special time in Blazers history.

Most memorable
That was either the famous National Anthem game in the playoffs against Dallas or the game where I dressed up like Santa Claus against the Sonics.
My favorite though was when we came back from 27 down against the Hornets a couple years ago. I pinpoint that game as the beginning of the turnaround. I felt like I led the charge, trying to pump up the crowd from my spot.
