You just joined and I was acting like a jerk, should have been asleep a couple of hours ago, and was written up at work today, err yesterday. but those are just excuses and not really any good. I wouldnt really know the answer, but this is a great place to learn whats going on with blazers. lots of knowledge in hear, and there is a couple of employees in hear every now and then. good inside stuff.

No, your correct

if you can’t reach the minimum character requirements, it shouldn’t be a fanpost most likely.

Wrong form of "your"

Your = possessive
You’re = contraction of “you are”

thats a good question

certainly not every symbol is a word. does that invalidate the premise?

That is a totally arbitrary rule.

And it is commonly done all of the time, even by reputable, well-established writers. I’m sure there’s more rules I could violate, but right now that’s all I can think of.

Learn the rules so you can break them.

We are not reputable, well-established writers. Therefore I stand by my previous evaluation.

P.S. You did just about break every rule I can think of. “There’s more rules.” That is the written equivalent of fingernails down a blackboard.

I Can't Believe You Didn't Know

Miles is in the best shape of his life. He states he will be “starting next year,” so be ready for his return. His contract expires in 2015. He will be payed 24 mil in his last year. Remember to put up your double O’s when ever he dunks. I think Miles may be the MVP of the 2013 season. book it

Really? I am SOOOOO going to draft him first round. Nobody will expect it! It’ll be like Pritch-slapping MYSELF! Thanks for the tip!

A lot of people apparently don't know yet

Exhibit A: This fan post
Exhibit B: I got ridiculous trade suggestions from Toronto revolving around Miles and his “potential” leading up to the draft
Exhibit C: He and his contract are still listed on various salary overviews, e.g. hoopshype

Coach, I promise I wasn't running hard ...

by Norsktroll on Jul 2, 2008 5:28 AM PDT reply actions

For those who apparently don't know still

The blazers sent him through physicals with the league and got his injury qualified as a career ending injury and then waived him.

by danielfarrell on Jul 2, 2008 6:07 AM PDT reply actions

yes

but if he plays in ten games this season for another team his contract will go back on our books

by BLAZERS#52 on Jul 2, 2008 7:07 AM PDT up reply actions

Expiring contract

I still think the Blazers should be able to use Miles’ expiring contract in the same way that multiple teams have been trading “retired” Keith van Horn’s salary

(yes, I want every advantage that KP and Penn can come up with)

Free beef for darius

95.5 has a great fake promo.

I’m sure you’ve heard it, but it talks about how we can help save the blazers.
All we have to do is give food to Darius. The object (in jest) is to get he plump so that he will not be able to play any games in the next 2 years. Our cap room depends on that.

Just to spite us

Now this is the kind of paranoid and delusional thinking I specialize in, but I wouldn’t put it past another team, especially when we start really kicking butt next season, to sign Miles and put him in for ten games. Is there a limit on how long he has to play in each of those games? If after a team does that can they just buy out his contract? I had no idea he still had a chance to eat our cap space up and now I’m overly concerned.
