some great players there

LMA, Iggy, KevMart, Horford are the best 4 as of now IMO and it makes tons of sense to get high potential guys like Durant and Rose in the program now as they could be perfect for USA basketball in the future. The only head scratcher on that list is Luther Head.

I guess they wanted a zone breaking gunner

Though I think someone like Boobie Gibson would be better than Head for that role, but Head can definitely hit that shot.

Hmmm, I can’t think of a better more all-round young guard who can consistently hit the 3 point shot, but I’m pretty tired. There’s gotta be someone better than Boobie and Head, who are pretty one-dimensional even if their names are erotically suggestive.

Here’s to hoping LMA’s plantar flascitis doesn’t keep him out of these practice games this summer. It’ll only help the big lug.

Kevin Martin will be a BEAST in international play. Can beat all those dudes off the dribble, score from anywhere, you can’t zone with him on the floor and you can’t stop him man on man. He should get a shot to be on the real team next time.

Yep

Him and David West both declined.

One of the other places said Roy wanted to rest up and make sure he was ready for training camp.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
