Full/Half/Quarter Season Ticket Holders: Roll Call

I can only assume we have quite a few here...I just picked up a couple Quarter Season Ticket Packages today...I got some 200 level (yellow) second on the Blazers side. I decided it's the best balance between view (I hate the nose bleeds) and price. The rest of the games I can watch in the comfort of my own home with a much cheaper frosty beverage.

So who else bought any packages, and if so, what kind?

I bought those

$199 seats for the season 3 years ago – back when the Blazers REALLY blew. I have renewed them since. Stop by and see me some time. Sec 327 – 2nd row from the top – directly behind Mr. Allen and Mr. Miller.

Oh yeah, bring a sherpa – it’s the stairway to heav-en…

Had quarter season last year

reupped to half season this year. 302 row H. can’t wait for the season to start.

by DrivetheLane on Jul 14, 2008 3:04 PM PDT   0 recs

Me too

went from quarter season to half. Moving from section 319 which was center court to 323 in the corner, but moved down from Row L (would have been M this year had I stayed in that section) to … uh, something quite a bit further down which I have already forgotten.

Not until COINCAST lifts the Blackout !

After 20 + years of rumbling up in the Red & Black Express,
I got short circuited by the Coincast blackout. I vowed to skip all
games, boycott the advertiser’s and convince other’s to join us.
I love the TEAM, but hate the decision. I almost bought half-season
last year, but . . .

DIE COINCAST & DIRECTV ! BRING BACK OUR BLAZERS !!
IS’NT SOUTHERN OREGON IS PART OF OREGON ?

It's GO time !

As far as I remember, the blazers were seldomly on TV before Comcast/DirecTV. Maybe 10-15 games a season on KGW. I’d gladly pay 10 a month to be able to watch every game of the blazers.

2 Full

In the red, I think 327, just got them this year. I totally bit on the Steal of the Game that they started doing at the end of the year. So very excited for the season to start.

I was gonna say that but figured people would get mad...

by Underdogfan on Jul 14, 2008 4:40 PM PDT   0 recs

that sucks

I got half season, same exact section, row E, two months ago. That doesn’t seem fair…. I’ll be in the row right behind you, the guy with his son.

Two Full Purple at Half-court

First year ever as a season-ticket holder. We have to drive up from Salem, so we’ll probably be selling a decent chunk of our tickets.

oh i haven't forgotten

sitting in those terrible seats for a pre-season game, and absolutely loving it made us realize we should really start going ot more games and not sweat sitting in the cheap seats. thanks again! also, inspired by you, i’ll probably be giving away some pre-season tickets here.

3 Full Purple

Had a quarter season for Roy and Aldridge’s rookie years, moved to 1/2 season (section 319 Row K) last season. This season we moved to full season (section 305 row B) for the first time and can hardly wait. We also kept the 3 half season seats in 319 in the family since my sister took them over! We will probably be selling some of the games, and also have some where I will go and sell the other two seats…

Half Season White...

Sec 110 – 8 rows up – 2nd year. Would love to have full season, but as it is now, will probably sell some when out of town. Work sucks in bball season!

Half season ticket holder

From Salem, upgraded from quarter season tix this year. I’m in the Orange section, Sec. 315, Row E. Not the best seats, but I like them, good vantage point, and my sons like them. Darn blimp never gets up to my area!! :-) Like other halfers I’m hoping for opening day tix….

PS

I have 2 tix, and like the other Salem folks will be offering some for sale most likely (for face price).

Blazer Maniac...Through and Through

Last year the organization instituted the “Blazer Maniac” section in 225, which my roomates and I split and a really nice price (right around $1,800 for 2 season tix, which they raised substantially this year). However, the maniac section failed miserably. A maniac must be defined by an attitude or a creed, not just by the geographic location of their tickets. While there are a proud few that represent, a jersey (or shirt), headbands (or hat), forearm bands and semi-drunk rabblement should have been a prerequisite to even getting into the section. After a short-lived, mismanaged year as the Blazer Maniacs, you will find us (Jake, Mike and Tim), beer in hand, jerseys dawned, heads covered, forearms a blazin’, still raining down our maniac spirit on the Rose Garden in section 225 row G for every home game.

I think I sat right next to you guys last year....

Were you nearby the mentally challenged older gentleman who screamed LOUDLY the entire game in the deep raspyt voice? He was a good guy, but it gave me a headache by the 4th quarter.

Clearing Room For The Blazers Out West

As the playoff picture begins to take shape it becomes clear that the Western Conference is one big game of musical chairs. There are nine viable playoff teams; unfortunately there are only eight playoff spots. For the Blazers to get a spot, one of last year's playoff teams needs to fall off. Someone's going to be caught standing when the music stops. The following are possible scenarios that could derail each team on their quest for playoff glory, helping the Blazers get back to the postseason for the first time since 2003.
