kyel korver ?
what do we think about korver he has eto on his contract he makes 4,500,000 on hes deal right now. maybe hes some one we could pick up cheep and stick it to the jazz witch i would love. plus i think he fits well with this team we could use another out side shooter now that we lost james ,and it wouldent tye up to much cap room to go after a big time player witch i dont really think we need.
please let me know if this belongs in the junk spot

Korver would be a good pick up for the reasons you explained
But that is the reason the Jazz would probably find a way to keep him

a more athletic and better defender

I agree
that it’s not worth it and the Jazz would probably ask for too much… but an interesting idea nonetheless.
And by the way, I would rather see these kinds of ideas/posts not in the junk drawer… just my two cents.

don't need no lamewad named Korver.
Gotta be the dorkiest b’ball name in history. The dude should be a second baseman pumped up on ‘roids for goodness sake.
Winning is everything.

Anyone ever watch "That 70's Show"
Kyle Korver bears a striking resemblance to Ashton Kutcher. I think from now on I will refer to him as “Kelso” Korver.

Korver
I’d let him ride the bench.

Jones is better than Korver.
I doubt there’d be any discount from his $4.5M, and Jones is making $4.6M/year. If we wanted a 3 point specialist, we’d have paid the money for Jones.

An interesting thought
But like everyone else said, he’s not better than our other SFs and is kinda spendy for what he does and would cost too much to get away from Utah, who really need his shooting (they could be zoned to death by teams before they got Korver, as they don’t have many good shooters even though Okur and Deron can hit the 3 decently).
This is my favorite pic of Ashton Korver—
I’ve seen a second one like that as well, from a different game. One girlish squeal and a coverup of your developing 11 year old breasts I can understand, but more than once? Do we want a dude with regular defensive moves like this?

Seen this before, great pic though
I have watched him do something like this, too. Several times. E.g. in the playoff series against the Lakers, might have been game 5. I was constantly wondering “why is he on the floor to defend a narrow lead in the last minutes and a way tougher guy like Harpring is sitting on the bench???”
He is in the league for two things: Three pointers and free throws. Nothing more, nothing less.
Coach, I promise I wasn't running hard ...
