Forget Potential
1977 the Blazers win the Championship, the following year they begin the season with a 50-10 record. They were a young team and we thought NBA dynasty.
2008 a young Blazer team with everyone throwing red roses at thier feet as they walk down the red carpet!
I for one think now is the time for everyone to quit talking about how great they are and let this team show what they got. Whether they win any Championships or not it's just a pleasure to be able to cheer the Blazers on again. With the departure of Sheed, Mighty Mouse, Wells,Woods,Rider,Jackson,Miles,Randolph,Trent, the Blazers are ours again. Before they were the Nations Jail Blazers!
I'm excited for this team and expect good things. I know it's time to just enjoy the ride.

Jail Blazers
Perhaps it was because of my young age, nine, or the fact that I had just started to root for the Blazers, but no amount of off-court troubles could stop me from rooting for the Blazers. While they may have been the nation’s Jail Blazers, they were still my Portland Trail Blazers. I couldn’t ever imagine not wanting to root for them, and if I watched every single game of a 21-61 season and supported the Blazers, I feel free to reminisce about how good they may be.

That makes you 13?
Do your parents know your reminiscing? Seriously, though, you’re really not at an age where you should be doing that. Just have fun now, and leave that sort of thing until you’re older.
Once you get a little older, watch more games, watch more annoying players, go through a bunch of highs and lows, it’ll test you. You may still be there in the end, but you won’t be as entusiastic about it. As you grow, you’ll also get sick of the dumb things others (and you) do. They won’t make much sense, will contradict everything you thought was right in the world. It’ll wear thin because it won’t happen in ways that shock you into a change of attitude. These things will be minor and accumulate. Then, one day, you’re passion’s nearly gone. That’s when things like spending money on people who act like morons starts to not make sense.
But, if you have time and enthusiasm, keep hoping and cheering. You would need to be a certain age to care about those things. It’s not a better or more enlightened age. Just different. And that’s why it’s tough for you to understand.

Good Guess
I’m actually almost nineteen, but, a very good guess none-the-less. I think I have watched plenty of Blazer games, in my opinion. My opinion about the Blazers will never change, I might have got exasperated about their off-court behavior every so often, but that doesn’t affect how I elt about them on the court.

There's about 110 days until the regular season.
People gotta talk about something.
Hype’s going to be crazy going into the regular season if no injuries curtail it.
No alternative
shut down the Bedge til the season starts

Hey Goob!
Good point, but ya gotta love the “dreamy” potential of this team.
Please oh please, don’t wake me up just yet!
The Oden Era, Day 382
Yea, I rooted for them to
But didn’t renew our season tickets,I promised my former partner that shared the tickets that if the Blazers could dump Randolph and Miles I start to spend $$$ on Blazers games again. Now it just seems to good to be true! I totally expect this team to go where no team has gone before! I dream of how Oden will control the paint. People talk about a 50 win season because we’re young. Hell the 77 team had nobody that played key minutes ever play a second of NBA playoff and they won it all. What I’m say’n is forget potential the time is now.
Time to start spend(ing) $$$$$
You said it, now go and see it.
LIVE time in the Garden that is!
The place rocked last year, how much louder could it get? We’ll see.
Woo hoo!
