Power Wheels Vs. Wheelchairs

First of all, I am yet again taking out my aggression here that has come from another website. This is because I refuse to pay for my e-mail service when I can get it free just to speak my mind, Real GM. I apologize if this topic has been covered in my absence, these kind of topics will keep coming up all summer long, especially right before the draft. I want to get really specific here: Who is this mysterious stranger of a point guard you are all talking about? And where is he coming from?

The Draft: Any time this comes up, people are saying: "No, KP says we need experience, all the guards are projected to be gone at 13, and only one of them is a good candidate to run the team the way we need, and he happens to be going first."

Another Team: Any time this comes up (see: anything about Billups), people are saying: "No way, that guy is definitely an upgrade, but he is like ten years older than our core, and therefor does not meet our championship window requirements."

I got news for ya. Last year we had the third youngest team in NBA HISTORY. That means if we get a true veteran, they will be like ten years older than our core. I am personally in the camp of trading the pick, or if we have to keep it draft Joe Alexander and then consolidate for our point guard. But where is he? Do we as fans really have so little faith that we don't think the staff we have now can pull something off in four years to replace a retiring point guard?

Ehh I wouldn't risk our 13 on OJ

Like Morty said, we’ll have to think carefully about taking the risk if he gets down to our second round picks, and really consider it with the 55th.

The name's Ainge, Danny Ainge. Fear our team; fear it's range.
No longer do we find making the playoffs strange.
We are the chosen, but we don't fear change.
Send us a valid trade offer, and maybe we'll make an exchange. Just don't estrange us by short changing us.

I think he was talking about Simpson

I wanted to say Wayne Gretzke

But I didn’t want to me a smarty so soon in a diary. Then I realized with Dave’s post, there are now 5 Rudy diaries up. Rudy reminds me of a black Larry Bird.

Whoa

I just realized that I posted stuff that I thought I was posting in walkoff’s diary. Sorry MGM.

I need to go to bed but I’m waiting for a horse race.

I just want to witness history if it happens.

That's what ESPN highlights are for

You should watch

Big Brown is off the ‘roids. The jockey’s wife is way hot. Their son is going blind and was deaf for a few years. Jim McKay passed away and they showed a great montage of him. And, t only takes two minutes to watch the actual race.

Hoopsworld

just dropped another article on the team page about why they think it’s Ben Gordon. Interesting.

To answer your question:

Neither. Jarrett Jack comes in improved and takes back his starting job. He’s exactly what we’ve been trying to trade for, but everyone sold him short.

Clearing Room For The Blazers Out West

As the playoff picture begins to take shape it becomes clear that the Western Conference is one big game of musical chairs. There are nine viable playoff teams; unfortunately there are only eight playoff spots. For the Blazers to get a spot, one of last year's playoff teams needs to fall off. Someone's going to be caught standing when the music stops. The following are possible scenarios that could derail each team on their quest for playoff glory, helping the Blazers get back to the postseason for the first time since 2003.

Check out the other scenarios over at Bustabucket
