Summer League Player

According to Casey Holdahl, it looks as though we've added at least one player to our summer league. He's Steven Hill, a 7-footer out of Arkansas. Here's the link

I also have a link to his stats here...

Thought my fellow B-E'ers would like to know who'll be joining Petteri, Freeland, Bayless and possibly Batum in Vegas next month!

Steven Hill out of Arkansas. Man I can’t wait to see him throwin it down and dominating the summer league. The dude’ll be an all star next year. Better than Oden.

Nature bats last.

I'm excited for summer league!

Can we watch the games online? Sure Oden won’t be playing but we can finally make a proper Bayless mixtape. Seriously there’s nothing on youtube.

When do we learn the summer league roster?

Sweet!

Last year, I only saw 3 games on NBATV. I can’t wait to see Bayless play off the ball and having visions of sugar plums dancing in my head.

On a side note. I can’t wait for the first regular season game! Aaahhrrrrgggghhh!

You can watch them online as well

The summer league games, at least the Vegas league we’re in, was available for free online on NBA.com last summer, and I’d expect they do it again.

You can watch the games live, or up to 48 hours after the game occurred. NBA.com saves them. That’s how I watched our games last summer…

I didn’t think any offseason would be as long as last year’s. Add one injury to Oden, plus two dashes of Rudy and Bayless, and you got a lil’ Mortimer counting down the seconds till the new season starts.

Steven Hill's my boy

I only lived in Arkansas from the time I was 4 until I was 6, but I’d consider myself a Razorbacks fan if I had to claim a favorite NCAA team. Even though it’s only the summer league team, I’ll be the spencerbutte to Hill’s Batum. I did say he was one of my favorites when the workout schedule was released, so I’ll consider myself a prophet from here on out. For what it’s worth he’s the sweatiest and most out of breath when interviewed on the workout videos from the official Blazers site.

How many players to summer league teams have?

by pualo on Jun 30, 2008 4:09 PM PDT reply actions

Up to 13 players

Here’s our roster from last year:

It’s wierd to look back and see that Webster and Aldridge were on the team when you think about where they are now.

Can I be on the team?

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSEEEEE!

I would so wicked dominate.

Somebody call Nate or KP or whomever and make it happen.

Is Bayless going to screw Koponen out of playing time?

Man, I hate Bayless already. Koponen’s per 48 blows Bayless out of the water.

The beautiful flip side! And this time it's our boy Ray Ray making a very unsurprising cameo. This is for the 2011-2012 season.

Note that Danny Granger, the best shooter in the NBA two slots closer to the center of the court, is actually the worst from this spot.
