Here is a direct quote from Bayless's Brother
I found this quote from Bayless's brother a Wall Street Stockbroker from an Arizon paper.
I'm glad to hear that Jerryd is happy to come to PDX. I believe he will help keep the miles down on Brandon and it looks like he can get to the hoop anytime he wants ala Tony Parker but a better shooter.
The trade that brought Bayless to Portland on Thursday, after the Indiana Pacers drafted Bayless in the No. 11 spot, proved a relief for Bayless' family. Bayless was projected to be taken in the 4-7 range for most of the spring. "I think most of us were shocked," Justin Bayless said. "When Indiana first picked him, I don't think anybody was too happy about it. But once we found out about the trade, everybody was cheering. We were all really excited at that point. They've got a great team and it's exciting to see what they will do."

Welcome to Portland!!
Be sure to go down to the Garden and check out the location of the side/end lines of the court. It might also help to reinact that scene from Hoosiers where they measure everything just to be sure. Also ….no jump passes.
