Kind of lost in the flurry was this move. I know there are a lot of BE'ers who were big fans of James Jones. I was never one of them. I think he was decent for us, but I also think he's deluding himself if he thinks he's going to make a bunch more money and/or become an impact player somewhere else.

this was pretty heavily discussed here yesterday. There was a main page post from Dave about it, and at least 1 fanpost as well.
I said yesterday I didn’t see us resigning him. After the draft and trades, I’d say the chances are even lower now.

I will miss Mr. Jones
He is a really cool dude. Very friendly and smart but also a cold blooded killer on the court. I’d be very happy if the Blazers signed him. He and Mr. Diogu could add a perfect veteran mix to our team.
