REPORTED ON SPORTSCENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think its a fair trade... mike miller seems appealing... and minnesota gets who they wanted afterall.

Fillers of Walker, Cardinal, Collins

Totally new outlook for each team, Memphis looks deadly with Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, and OJ Mayo into the mix, not to mention Mike Conley Jr.

Minnesota........ has 2 big bodies in the paint, Kevin Love and AL Jefferson, it all depends on how Corey Brewer and Randy Foye pan out. Outside shooting from Mike Miller

Me too!

I really wanted that to be the Blazers, not the Grizzlies though.

Yeah .... Minnesota gets who they really

wanted (Love) plus Mike Miller! Good move. Maybe some will start laying off McHale now.

Good trade on both ends.

I was really worried about Mayo in Minnesota. Big bust potential up there. In Memphis he fits better with the personnel they’ve got.

Really pretty good trade on both ends.

McHale comes up trumps - unbelievable

Instead of straight out drafting Love, McHale gets Love AND Mike Miller, AND gets some serviceable bigs, AND gets rid of some bad contracts.

His best up and under move yet. Quite Pritchslapesque.

Untill Kevin Love plays a game

And we all realize it was a McHale trade.

lol

i agree love at best will be a ok starter and worst(and most likely) a bust

I dont think hes a bust

I can see him as a solid 10, 10, 5 player his whole career. Maybe at his prime a 11, 11, 6. That 5 and 6 is assists, not blocks. That may be a large number, but next year the NBA is officially going to start recording outlet passes as assists like hockey assists. I called it here, just watch it happen.

those numbers for a number five pick seems like a bust

not like an out of the league in 3 years bust more like and Tyrus Thomas, Stromile Swift, etc. bust. Basically a big drafted way to high.

Love, Miller, and Cardinal

I think McHale is trying to get an all White T-Wolves team like his old Celtics teams. It will be fun to see Roy, Trout , Martell, and GO dunk on them.

by RoyDrexler on Jun 26, 2008 10:54 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

And they will. Doubt though McHale

was actually trying to get Cardinal.

wow,

both Wallace and McHale could come out looking like KP after a pritchslap with this deal. Memphis kinda got screwed a little bit, having to dump miller, but overall, OJ Mayo>Love+Miller. Very interesting deal.

Good deal for both teams

The West just got tougher. They both significantly improved, I think. Neither is likely to contend for the playoffs next year, but both should win significantly more games.
