B.E. Draft Night

UGH its my one year anniversary with the girlfriend

I’m still trying to figure out a way to watch the thing, normally I would dedicate my whole day to it. Anyone know the time it starts? Normally I watch it on the East coast and it’s a night thing there. Either way I’m so screwed because I’m going to be so preoccupied on the draft and my girlfriend has already accused me on multiple occasions of loving the Blazers more than her. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? I don’t know if I can just DVR it and wait until the next morning, I’ll want to watch it on live TV and listen to all the radio shows and read BEdge as it happens. PLEASE Trail Blazer Gods help me get through the day with out a huge fight with the girlfriend and a good dosage of Blazer goodness

Use your head man

Plan a weekend getaway. Explain to her that a Thursday evening is not worthy of the celebration you have planned. Then you have another 24 hours to plan something.

A solid plan

Create your own tradition. Going away for the weekend every anniversary has lots of merits: 1) It’s romantic; 2) It takes some of the pressure off a specific date; and 3) It keeps your evenings free on draft days, which I believe are always weekdays.

(Just thought you’d want the imput from a Blazer fan of the female persuasion.)

what I wrote makes it sound way too harsh… she is the greatest person I have ever met. I am the luckiest guy I know, I’m lucky to have even met her, infact she has made a great effort to learn about the Blazers… the thing is, one of the things I love more than the Blazers is her…
