Finals Game 2 Witness to the L*kers dysfunction..
I found this blog by Curt Schilling (amazing pitcher from the Boston Red Sox) who was sitting behind the L*kers bench during game two of the finals. He observes some interesting conversations and behaviors of the L*ker players (particularly of K*be).
"From the first tip until about 4 minutes left in the game I saw and heard this guy bitch at his teammates. Every TO he came to the bench pissed, and a few of them he went to other guys and yelled about something they weren’t doing, or something they did wrong. No dialog about “hey let’s go, let’s get after it” or whatever. He spent the better part of 3.5 quarters pissed off and ranting at the non-execution or lack of, of his team. Then when they made what almost was a historic run in the 4th, during a TO, he got down on the floor and basically said ‘Let’s f’ing go, right now, right here” or something to that affect."
Here's the link for your reading pleasure.
It's interesting to me to hear this since the consensus in the news is that this year is a new K*be. A K*be that is a team player and is team first and has learned how to unabrasively deal w/ his team. Isn't that the reason why he won the MVP this year?

I wouldn't trust anything....
... written by Curt Schilling, who is even more arrogant than Kobe and loves controversy.

But I do trust that he tells it like it is, at least through his eyes.

We all know Kobe isn't a good team mate
His new “nice guy” “team player” “everyone love everyone” attitude is a huge NIKE marketing scheme. It’s no different than him actin in a commercial. He’s an extremely talented sociopath. He is supremely narcisistic and selfish he will never be a “team player” so schiling, to me, is
1. starting controversy b/c he’s an ass and jealous that k*be is getting more attn than he is
2. pointing out the obvious

Kobe's so vain, he probably thinks that song is about him.

Night and I both made comments in another thread about Grope's courtside behavior.
ABC announcers discussing it now.

Thanks nightblue,
I really needed that song playing over and over in my head for the rest of the day… No really, thanks.

Looks like someone thinks that song is about them, don't they?

First of all
As JK pointed out in his comment above, Schilling isn’t exactly Mother Theresa. The dude lives in a glass house himself. He’s an arrogant, airheaded right wing crackpot.
Kobe is no angel himself, but compared to Schilling he’s a class act. A total class act.
Winning is everything.

It's easy to be a nice guy when things are running good
And the LA area/media is in love with Kobe because he’s everything they want to be, handsome, famous, rich (and arrogant) So he’s Teflon-coated in their eyes.
Kobe’s teammates say all the right things, but I bet if you interview them ten, fifteen years from now they’ll tell you Kobe’s a first-rate you-know-what. I never bought into that “new Kobe’ stuff.
LA’s looked pretty crummy the first two games. We’ll see.
