Rudy´s fight to bridge the gulf in a possible last death match.

Next Rudy´s game will be very interesting for us.

Although we know Rudy hates to lose, i want to emphasize this wouldn´t be only a defeat but The Ultimate Defeat, as next game would be his last one at ACB. Rudy won´t like to say goodbye in Barcelona´s court, missing the opportunity to do it with his fans, in their court, with a victory and, if possible, winning a last title.

Referees: they were on Rudy yesterday, penalizing any action he did trying to get fouls. He got a technical foul because he let go his leg while shooting to get a foul in his favor.

Playing time: Rudy played 34:13 min. in 1st game, while the best players of Barcelona played more time (Lakovic 38:12; Aker: 36:55; and Ilyasova: 34:55). DKV lost the game when Rudy and Moiso were resting in the bench in the third quarter.

Axa Barcelona: a great team with a lot of money, good veteran players and some NBA first and second round draft picks.

Last shot missed to tie the game: how Rudy will digest it?. I think he´s furious.

Hope some of you will watch the game and comment here your impressions. Myemic and i will do it and very probably BlazerorBust too.

Here's hoping that Rudy Dominates!

What time is that game in oregon time?

There’s a good chance I’ll be camping and won’t be able to watch… but if i’m not, I’ll be there too.

I voted for Rudy eats them alive.

Imagine the fear he’ll strike into opposing teams when they find out he’s into cannibalism. Which is totally different from cabalism and cannibusism.

I´m still waiting for Luis caricature.

He seems to be a right member of Lizard team, with cold blood in his veins. Lazy lizard Luis.

I didnt know Rudy got a technical for that leg kick three pointer...

What a weak call, that was the Reggie Miller special. He wont get called for that in the NBA, heck, he probably would have got 3 freethrows. I thought they showed the replay because it was a call that should have been made, not because he got a T. Lameness…

Did you see that the referee raised his fist

with the other hand catching his wrist?. It is the sign for a technical.

OHHHHH....

That helps a lot, thanks. I thought it was a holding call off of the ball or something like that. I was a little confused about some of the calls without any english speaking commentators to clear it up. I am excited for the game tomorrow, I want to see a game 3!!!

Tiago Splitter's team take G1 in the other semifinal match

If Rudy advances, this could get interesting => Blazer’s prospect vs. Spur’s prospect.

Rudy is ravenous

He will turn the Barcelona defence into quivering mincemeat, shake and bake, and deep fry them from three. With no players left brave enough to face Rudy the Ravenous, Barcelona will concede defeat. There will be no game three. You’ll see.

He's on FIRE with a little Floater in the lane.

By all means!

Use it. And thank you for all your updates from Spain! I can’t wait to see Rudy in red and black.

amlmart???

Do you know anything about Rudy’s injury? That was a nasty collision and it didnt look good for Rudy. I hope he is ok…

I knew he has been playing injured from last month.

But the team doesn´t talk about it, perhaps they prefer to keep it secret. If he had a collision today i´m happy with DKV elimination. I want him healed to play with us.

It was his left arm or elbow

He didnt play in the 4th quarter until there was 2 minutes left and DKV down 12. I assume it is because of his injury. Oh well, I hope its nothing serious, we need him in Portland next year!!

Checked the score a couple time

DKV Joventut jumped out 4 – 0

Toward end of the first half, they were down by 10 points.

Bahhhh

DKV loses! Fire the coach! Time to blow this thing up and rebuild! There’s obviously better coaches out there. Like Dan Marleje. And Scott Skiles.

Current team + Greg + Rudy = Blazers losing narrowly to the Spurs in the 2008-2009 Western Conference Finals. Book it.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
