I was reading that in the paper.
Look on the second page. Don’t you think that picture of KP would look better if he had a mustache?

Favorite part
- Josh McRoberts: 414th, 13, 21.7, -18%
McRoberts played extremely sparingly for Portland and spent some time in the D-League. His per 40 FIC is at an MVP level, but he only played 30 minutes as a rookie.

And Regarding Jaynes and Others
What I’d be worried about with Roy over an 82-game season is that playing the point for extended minutes would wear on him, and by the time the playoffs roll around, he’d be too weary or banged up to contribute.
Why would playing point guard be so hard on Roy’s body? How old are Jason Kidd and Steve Nash? How old was John Stockton when he was in the playoffs? Oh, poor Roy, the point guard position is too tough for his tender body. Are we worried about the difference of him playing 10 years or 12 years, or winning championships?
Hugs are free, please share.

What I understood from that
is that he’s not regarded as a traditional PG, but rather as a combo guard who can orchestrate the offense in the halfcourt. He’s obviously a capable ball-handler and three-quarter-court pressure isn’t going to make him cough the ball up. But if I were an opposing coach and saw Roy playing the point, I’d have whoever was defending him harassing him the whole way up the court, because he’s NOT a really good ball-handler like those guys that you named and it’ll tire him out.
That’s why I don’t want Roy being the designated point. I’d prefer that we keep Blake or find another 1, but a REAL 1 and not B-Roy masquerading as one. Just my opinion.
