Point totals as of Wednesday morning

AnntheFan - 4 points

92wastheyear - 3 points

JTDuck22 - 3 points

Up today is Ann the Fan. It is your job to do your best impersonation of our favorite Travis Outlaw fan by answering this question: "What is Travis' role next season?" And tomorrow morning, or whenever Ann gets around to it, the judgment will be pronounced. Good luck to all!

As long as Travis’s asthma is under control, I think next year will be even better than this one for young Travis. Those of you talking about trading Travis, we will not even think about that.

Oh, my, there go the game.

ah, shoot

that was supposed to be italic not bold. Technical foul me.

Oh well

Except for the tech foul, you pretty much nailed it.

Travis is staying put

If you watch, you know my boy Travis always improves when he focuses on one skill at a time, like his jump shot last year. This year, I think he will focus on driving to the hoop more, and he’ll be even better for the Blazers. All the people who say he’s going to be traded will be relieved he’s still a Blazer. hehe.

#25 is the bomb

he he. Travis isn’t going anywhere. He upped his game big time last year, and he has the coolest accent on the team. I also think we should fire Rebecca Harlow because she likes Trav.

Hello all

Snicklefritchs all around. I think that my sweet T-bone ( I like to call Travis T-bone because of his lovely bone structure) will rapidly become the face (and the body) of the franchise. I think T-bone will spend most if not all the summer workin on his catch phrases (like “There go the game”). One thing at a time is his motto. My boy Travis better be here next year or I will ”#25” all of you misogynists.

hehe

Mmmm, moxie

You all got me in the mood for moxie, so I ran to New Seasons, and whadda ya know, there’s a sale on moxie. They didn’t mention it in the circular or the stat sheet, but there it was, in the produce section, organic moxie. If there’s anything Travis specializes in, it’s organic moxie—the Memphis game being the primo example. Of course, he pretty good at Gumption, too.

Because this is OT and I don't know where else to put it, nice quote from GO

I need to stay up late so I can go first. I’ve done been out Anned. Let me try this.

I’m like a dog in heat, a freak without warning.
I have an appetite for Travis ‘cause me so corny.
Oh, so corny….Ohh, so corny…Ohh, so corny.
Me love Trav love time.
Oh, so corny….Ohh, so corny….Ohh, so corny.
Me love Trav long time.

Nah, I’m just playing with you all. Ann would say something like this:

Aweeeeee! #25’s role is to be my favorite player next season and forever! FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.

I do not think Ann is corny, it’s the only word on RhymeZone that was a suitable replacement.

MORE MOXIE PLEASE!

I ain’t a good imitator, so I won’t try, but I think everyone needs to add a heaping tablespoon of pure MOXIE to their posts to adequately reflect the moxie AnntheFan lovingly instills into each and every post.

Moxie is an intangible asset that doesn’t show up on the stat sheet!

Moxie!

My mom's favorite player is Travis

Therefore, annthefan is my mom. Why did you give me up for adoption?

by Sabonis4Ever on May 14, 2008 1:44 PM PDT reply actions

And the winners are
1 bfan…............. He’s concise and he captured the essence of my most
frequent comments perfectly.
#2 section323….... She mentioned Travis’ asthma which I’m known to fuss over
and she gently chided people for Travis trade talk.
#3 Mr. inHawaii…... He was able to restrain himself and used a “c” instead of an
“h” because he knows that I feel about Travis as I would an
innocent foundling plopped on the steps of the local library in 32
degree weather. It’s Rudy who rings my chimes.
And also because I’m soft-hearted and I don’t want
Tom to feel neglected.

Woo, I rule!

You were the hardest so far. You use so many one liners, it’s hard to cram all that fun into one line.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
