95.5 the game

What do you think of the new station? (I know it just launched 20 minutes ago) I liked the comment in the intro "Finally a sports station that actually talks about sports". I can't wait to listen to Gavin tonight.

Do you think Comcast Sports Channel will continue showing primetime now that there is another sports radio station that features their (Comcast) biggest tenant (the Blazers)? I wouldn' be surprised if Suke and the other guy start talking a little more about sports now that their is competition.

If anything it will be good

A. Some competition will blow 1080 out of the water and expose Isaac and Suke for the flakes they are, the only reason I listen/watch them was for the interviews KP, Larry Miller and Frye, hopefully we can have an hour of Frye on 95.5.

B. because it is FM and will sound better and you can get it indoors.

C. I dont have to change my tuner over to AM from FM

one complaint so far...

The ridiculous anouncer voice doing the promo spots.

Looking forward to the afternoon competition. Maybe Isaac and Suke will have to start doing some prep of actual sports topics instead of their usual faire of “top 10 guy movies” or “hottest ladies over 30” or whatever other BS they constantly discuss.

I’m also curious what happened to to the jammin side of things? I actually kind of enjoyed that station for short car rides, and I’m sure there is a market for a hip hop station in Portland… Is it on AM now like KISN?

Jammin took over my favorite radio station…Movin 107.5. That station was finally starting to get a good following too. It had a refreshing format and I loved the variety. I am so angry that Jammin is now on 107.5.
