Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Updated: Vote Bedge 2008

Sabonis4ever told me to make this a diary, so here it is. Just found this via Mavs Money Ball. It is Hardwood Paroxysm's blog awards. Blazersedge is nominated for a few, and there are others that you can write in for. I think this blog could bring in quite a few awards if you all vote. http://hardwoodparoxysm.blogspot.com/2008/04/nba-blogger-season-awards-2008.html
Ha! Their making fun of us on hardwoodparoxysm. Check the above link and read the update... This is the first time anything I've done has been linked to.

I voted yesterday
A lot of the blogs have this ballot link on their front page.

I actually find it very classy that BE doesn't.

Although that sentence above may seem snobish, I find BE the classiest blog in the NBA. I mean I love to cuss as much as the NY or GS fans, but I let my girlfriend and family members hear my profanity laced tirades.

There is already enough cussing and forum attacking all over the internet. BE is like a sanctuary for intelligent free thought.

Of all the NW
teams...I think the community here has the best fans.

Some of the other bloggers are really good, but the community just isn't as passionate or active as this one.

The other SBN blogs I check out are the Ducks, Seahawks, Beavers, and Trojans.  Some of those other blogs are really well written and the bloggers put in a lot of research and thought, but the fans just aren't there.  Dave has done a great job here.

Who is
hardwoodparoxysm.com anyway?

Doesthis really matter?

I am ignorant here JT. I have never heard of this blog site before. I have no knowledge of millions of blogs. Does this one matter or was it just createde on an idea?

I Feel Ya
Seems like a really smart way to drive traffic to your blog.  I still went and voted for the Bedge and Brew Hoop.

Well Then
Why not run a poll on your blog. You may get an Advertiser and some pocket money with enough hits.

I have no idea what it is.
I had never heard of it, but if you can win an award, why not win it?

Haha at the update
Hurtful, but true. We took our shots, they took theirs. We win by default.

Their update cracks me up
We'll see how "irrelevant" our season was next year, when the things accomplished this year prove to be the foundation for 50+ wins and "most feared underdog" status in the playoffs.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
