honestly, who cares. I'm not trying to be a jerk or put your post down, I'm just saying that it really doesn't matter in any way whatsoever. people cuss and throw tantrums every game, if Kobe wants to creatively flip off the ref by scratching his face, then really, in my opinion, it's not really even flipping him off. It only counts if you actually do it to their face and they know, otherwise it's no different than mumbling the words the flip off represents under your breath (except the hidden flip off looks way more childish)... Let's all stop pretending that Kobe is Satan and our beloved Blazers are the shining lights of the world, because I'm sure they've dropped an F bomb or two towards someone in their day, or at least I hope they have.

Doesn't look so bad in the picture, but it seems pretty obvious in the video.

I remember Kobe doing this, but I just figured Kobe might be one of those peoples who uses his middle finger for stuff that most use their index finger (the pointy finger) for.  I am one of those people, anyways, and sharing this trait with Kobe makes my teeth itch :-(

My middle finger programs the microwave, itches my head, and is inserted in the various holes that are presented before me throughout the course of the day.  I don't think Kobe was flipping off the ref, though I wouldn't put it past him.

I know some think we hate Kobe too much, but it should be noted that MOST NBA PLAYERS HATE KOBE AS WELL.  There is a reason for this.  His own teammates, past and present, do not like him.  It is because he is an arrogant jerk by all accounts.  They have all told me personally, that's how I know.

This isn't that bad of a diary, and is much more worthwhile than many diaries written daily.  Timbo is once again incorrect with his assessment of the situation.  I commend you, dougall5505, for providing visual evidence of Kobe's ne'erdowellosity, and I enjoyed your diary immensely, as did all at MortiCorp Headquarters.

The fake flip off is only cool if they know you're doing the fake flip off.  If Kobe is indeed doing the fake flip off, it is about as childish as when I kissed a valentine before I gave it to a special girl, in the third grade.  Kobe is just picking eye boogers.  

I tell you what, I've had more than my share of poll lately, but I think this diary need a poll.  

he was flying the bird at half glory.  Live video is needed to enjoy it in all its glory.

Definitely flipping though.

Besides, the video also shows the guys going up to Odom.  I liked that, even though I think Odom could have taken aldridge and outlaw out at once without sweating, at least they were showing some spirit.

Hopefully that transfers over into another hardworking summer and a breakout season AGAIN for this team and these guys.
