Select-A-Seat Open House Event

Did anyone get their seat at yesterday's open house?  How about the thrill of getting Greg Oden's voice on your answering machine?  Wasn't that something??  Just as I was thinking, "Wow man, way cool!  That is Greg Oden's voice!," I realized he was saying, "Hey it's me, Greg Oden, from the Portland Trail Blazers.  I bet you didn't expect to get a phone call from the number one draft pick in the NBA..."

I was so thrilled, I had to call my sister and replay the message into her answering machine. I forgot to say anything to preface it.  When she got her message, she was so excited, she called me at work and replayed her message into my voice mail at work! We had a major case of star struck going on.

Anyway, I got next year's tickets in section 317 on the aisle with 318. I'm so primed for next year.  Anyone else get their tickets?

Sweet
I am going to start stalking you.  It will be a lot of work and require lots of travel, but I think think it is a worthwhile endeavor.  Actually, what would work out best is if I could hire a Portland stalking firm to do the work for me. Then send me monthly reports.

That's neat about Greg Oden's message.  I'm excited for all you folks, I wish I had season tickets.

Scored first season tickets ever
Sweet, we're in section 318 too, row N!

My girlfriend and I got our first season tickets ever. we got purple section at midcourt 3 rows from the back ;). we live in salem which effectively raises the cost of each game $10 over ticket price.

I was amazed at how few seats were available. It seems a sure bet that all of next years games will be sold out.

Funny
I'm in Section 319.  Chose seats directly behind the two we have for this year. (Still under the Drexler jersey.)  I didn't go right at noon and was astounded at how few seats were available and slightly irritated that even though I was upgrading (from quarter season to half) I had to choose among lesser seats.  Maybe in June something a little better will open up.  I know now to be there immediately!

And I suppose right now I should start collecting names of people who want to be on my "extra ticket" list.  My grandson won't be going to all those games (esp. in the fall when he's playing football) so I'll have an extra ticket.  The only caveat is that you'll have to sit next to me ...

Forgot to mention
that I saved Greg Oden's message which happened to be on my cell phone.  On the way to the game Fri. I just handed my phone to my grandson and told him to listen, not giving any hints as to why.  He started laughing and thought it was pretty cool.

OK, I have you down
There probably won't be many, if any, weekend tickets going begging, but there may be.

If your name comes up I'll ask Dave for your email addy and get in touch with you that way.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
