Hollinger says The Dream is still alive

And other random tidbits...

Portland:  ODDS (%) = .01

So you're saying there's a chance!

  •  Lakers vs. Rockets today is going to be a killer game to watch.  Go Rockets!
  •  No matter how this season finishes out, or how the off-season plays out, I'm proud of the guys and what they've accomplished this year.  Mistakes and criticism aside, they've all made strides and the future is promising.  COMING SOON: ODEN!
  •  Is it just me or is the NBA way more interesting than it's been in ...awhile?  If only the Knicks were good...  Upstart Portland vs. all these Behemoths over the next few season is going to be fascinating to watch.
  •  Happy Sunday to all of us, may it drag out forever so we don't have to go to work as quickly.  That's all I got.

I just scrolled down and accidentally read the Denver line and got a little excited.  Then I figured out my error and was emotionally crushed.

Now here is the two-bit question.  What is more important to you, developing players, or developing a winning culture and finishing strong?  Both are important to build towards next year.

    The two-bit question...
...is a toughie, cause I want both.

I don't think we will spend any more time developing players than we have been. The season is already too short.

I think we will continue developing the winning culture. The goals are many and will be sought after until they are unreachable.

The one hundreth of a percent chance of a Play Off birth is still there. Like being down by eight with nine seconds left in the game. It will be chased until the final whistle blows.

Then we most likely still have a chance to tie The Nugs. With the same Win/Loss record the PTB claim second place in the NW Division.

We will play to win 45 games this year. Then 44, 43 until we are playing for a winning record.

Those are the High goals. We want to beat the L*kers, the good teams, the teams we should beat. End the season with a Win.

I don't think there is any room left for developing Players any more than we are now.
