Raps fans flip out = I have flashback

i was reading this article by the Toronto Star writer Dave Feschuk and I had a flashback to the bad ol' days of Steve Patterson.  Man, remember when we had all these needs?  And now our biggist need is more time in the game to play all our guys.  I mean, how are we gonna find playing time with all these guys?  KP is an artist...nee...a master gardener.   This current blazers is his masterwork,  a garden of basketball. . 100 % organic.  The victories taste sweeter then the ones during the Trader Bob era because we've watched them grow.  They taste earned.  Good for you too.  Low in fiber. No saturated fat now that Z-bo's gone.

Read the article here:

It's pretty hilarious for its bitter, bitter tone (member that?) and then the comments that just kinda melt into collective head banging over the drafting of Andre (wet penne) Bargnani OVER Barak ORoyma and LaSmoothus AllRight

Hey don't be mad canada.  Shhhh.  Why you actin' like that?  All crazy.  You know we love you.  Shhhhhhh,  Yeah Naismith naismith whatever.  Shhhhhh.

the headline is quite genius if you ask me.

If you want more rebounds, acquire more rebounders

lol sounds like something Tom would write
As Wilf presented the game ball to coach Brad Childress, a nude Shiancoe was blatantly “hanging out” in the backround.

I watched the video

You can barely see it. It’s mostly obstructed, and only there for a split second.

I must ask

Why did you watch the video?

lol and here's the quote from Shiancoe
For his part, Shiancoe did not seem overly concerned with the incident. When informed that the story had become a hot topic on the internet, Shiancoe had only one question for a female columnist from the Minneapolis Star Tribune: “How’d it look?”

What a strange article

Except for one line, you’d think the Blazers had absolutely trounced the Raps. Did we blow them out and I missed it?

I have always hated Bargnani...

I know he has a good jumper but sheeeesh, he is marshmallow soft. He doesnt have a true position, he plays like a small forward but lives in a skinny centers body. He is too slow to guard wing players, and too weak to guard post players. He just bugs me, I can’t believe he was the #1 pick, but I am not complaining….

Yes, he is arguably one of the most undefined players in the NBA in terms of position

And not in a good “Tayshaun Prince” or “Ron Artest” kind of way, who have a natural position but can credibly defend two others.

Best line of the all the comments...
People have to get over this Aldridge thing. We didn’t need a Bosh clone. What would he even do here? Play centre?

Centre??? Hahaha, ah man, you gotta love Canadians.

And then they go and get O'Neal

whose play is very similar to Bosh

Wow! Talk about sharing the intimate details of your life.

bg. Before, I came all the time in the afternoon, but now I basically don’t come more than one time out of two. Because you still have to rest!!!!

So I rest at my house, especially since there’s my family who have arrived in Portland there. My sister is at school and I rest with my mom. We’re in the process of looking for a house for them. And I rest deeply to recover well, because the first weeks were really tiring.

Maybe if he just didn’t do “it” on game days at all he would not be so tired. I hear that rookies in the porno industry hit that same “rookie wall”. LOL

I wouldn't consider Aldridge Lanky.

different strokes, I guess.

If you're paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many pancakes fit in a doghouse? None! Ice cream has no bones!

What/who do you consider lanky?

LMA isn’t only lanky, he’s as lanky as all git-out.

He’s as lanky as they come. As lanky as the day is long. Long limbs + skinny = lanky.

He isn’t as skinny as he USED to be, but he’s got a lotta limb to cover with them muscles. Takes longer to biggerize!
