Too much time on my hands...
Okay here it is the mother of all trades... you ready for it?
1st) LMA and Raef to Lakers for Pao Gasol and a pick
2nd) Pryz and Frye for Conley and Marc Gasol
3rd) Blake, Trout, Bayless for Calderone
This would give us a roster of:
C Oden/ M. Gasol
PF P. Gasol/ Diogo/ Randolf
SF Batum/ Martell
SG Roy/ Rudy
PG Calderone/ Segio/ Conley
We then use our 1st round pick to take Victor Claver
and we use the Lakers 1st round pick for Nando de Colo
We also sign Juan Carlos Navaro via Free agency
Finally we hire the Sito Alonso (coach of DKV Joventut) as a lead Assistant Coach

Then we could trade Brandon Roy for Tony Parker....
and Greg Oden for Boris Diaw….
and Martell Webster for Mickaël Piétrus
and Mike Conley Jr. for Ronny Turiaf
Then we’d have the Spanish AND French FIBA teams!

Now were talkin
Do any of our coaches speak French and Spanish I say skip the shooting coach get these guys a linguist
Oh I forgot
Garbosa Im sure he will come back and instead of Oden for Pietrus Oden for the #1 pick and make way for Rubio
Since you have so much time on your hands
you need to somehow re-balance the trades so that you have a team of 5 Spaniards who would all come into the game at the same time, much like the Red Wings did in the mid-90s with their Russian line.
speaking of the Russian line...
maybe we could pick up Monia and Khryapa to add some Russkies to the mix.

On a serious note, Lithuanian Ramunas Siskauskas of CSKA Moscow ...
is a mighty fine player. In fact, here are some earlier comments of mine about Siskauskas.
“I’d love for Kevin Pritchard to somehow pluck Ramunas Siskauskas from CSKA Moscow, though.”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaYvvoy7Ayc
"Siskauskas, 30, is a modern-day Sarunas Marciulionis. With the second unit, he could slide right in at small forward next to fellow wing Rudy Fernandez.
Martell Webster, however, signed a long-term contract extension, while Nicolas Batum has been anointed the next big thing. As a result, this isn’t a practical idea."

At least it’s not an altogether absurd scenario, though.
Screw this plan
Let’s get Ruben, ’Sheed, and Bonzi back together

I don't think Darius would fit our culture.
Everyone keeps saying he’s “reformed” and stuff.
Not gonna’ fly.

LMAO. this was a great sequence of posts
"All our holes," says shooting guard Brandon Roy, a surprise All-Star last year in his second season, "are holes that Greg is going to plug."
+1
Haha, Man that was at least a 9.5, I don’t know what prez is thinking
Jaws were hitting the floor as Greg repeatedly attempted to tear the rim off the backboard...
Somehow we get 2 all star caliber players and only give up Aldridge
I don’t see why we even do trade number 2. If we’re getting Calderon in trade 3, why do number 2 at all?
I was just thinking about trading in general or actually, more specifically, the constant need to put together a lineup that could play at the all star game. Even the Celtics who acquired 2 all stars and won the title still had huge questions in their lineup. Rondo and Perkins as your starting 1 and 5? No bench? C’mon, even with 3 all stars they can’t win the title. Their team stepped up, improved and won the title. What about the Jordan Bulls? His point guards were BJ Armstrong, John Paxson and Ron Harper (I guess) along with centers like Bill Cartwright and Luc Longley. Ok, maybe the best player ever doesn’t need that much help.
What I’m tying to say is we don’t need to have the perfect team to play well or win a championship. We’ve got Roy, Aldridge and Oden. We’ve got pieces that fit well around them. Blake and Przy are stepping up and playing their best seasons ever. The bench is deep. They like each other and accept their roles. I could go on and on. This team can do it on its own.
"It’s a good ol’ fashioned Rip City beat down!"
Read the posts above
And that should tell you how seriously you should take this trade proposal.
I only devoted 2 lines to the trade above
the rest was just my thoughts about trades in general.

Really
I mean sure we have a great team with those guys but where is the personality I mean Roys an All star yeah but can he slap a Biznich or drag race like Z-Bo and you really think Trout can puff a blunt like Damon and I seriously doubt Aldridge or Oden can handle the refs half as good as Rasheed. Think about that.
Regarding this poll, ...
the “really bored at work” quote genuinely confuses me.
How can anyone who comes up with such ridiculous ideas manage to get a job?
Yeah, I’m a jerk. I’m an unemployed jerk at that, so there’s an added tinge of bitterness here.
Well...
Creativity, Dedication and Charisma can get you very far in life and if your like me and don’t really have any of those get a job where there is little or no supervision.
