Greet Blazers at the airport after great road trip.
I dont know how we could organized it, but I would like to greet Blazers at the airport when they fly today back to Portland.
What do you guys think? How good it would make them feel if we came out 100-200 people to cheer them when they come out of the plane?
Does anybody know where they land? Maybe we can organize something together? I dont know where they land or what time, but it should be somewhere in 6 hours in Portland. If anybody could find out where they will be. Maybe someone can call the 5 quarter and find out the info?
Lets do this. GO BLAZERS.

Anybody has any conections to Wheels or other Blazers member to call them and get some info?
And Oden, once again, is a rookie, so non-stop fast break basketball is like fast-forwarding a song while he's trying to learn the lyrics.

I think this only works after a playoff road victory

They block the flight info so you can't track them

If you look closely, you can see Jerryd sporting a Bayless face in one of the plane windows.

I was really hoping it would be all blazered out, not that ho-hum paint job.

here are some more pics
Paul Allen uses that thing like a private taxi. China, South Africa, France… talk about carbon footprint stomping.

I've been unable to find out anything.
I think it’d be fun. But I think they’d be arriving about now. It’s a 7 1/2 hour flight.

If you can figure out where the private part of the airport is
I think it’s probably over by the golf course around 40th or so, the South-West corner of the airport. Then you can just park outside the gate and they will zoom past in their cars as they leave.

well I told Shav you all wanted to do this
but had no idea how really to co-ordinate anything …guess they don’t share flight plan swith the team
but I told him everyone here at the site was pumped with the victory so at least they know they are appreciated

BTW, I've been hyping him on the blog everywhere possible lately
Part of it is the terrible play of Channing and Outlaw, but I was also impressed with him preseason.
I want to see what he can do with 15 minutes a game for a while. And of course Diogu is garbage. So hopefully he gets the chance.

be nice -- meaning please comment on the play not the player
Even with that said Ike’s play is not garbage – - he’s been highly regarded since his teen years..but each guy will play to his niche..and his here is… unclear at best
Shav might be quicker and be a more potent outside/in threat..he rebounds at a real high rate…he played in a lineup w/ 2 AI’s so his offensive # are skewed downward..prob so are his reb #’s but the opposite…still..got a lotta practice at thinking/moving quickly and getting those 2nd chances….and those guys are fast as ….well you know..
… last year Philly would even run on made foul shots..

I know in Seattle...
We used to do this down at Boeing Field for the Sonics. It was always fun to welcome them home. A couple times we went down to scrape off their windshields after a good snow.
I don’t know where the Blazers land, but it would be very, VERY fun to find out and greet them after road trips like this!

Ike's problem
Ike needs to give up video games and work harder in the gym and go running. Ike – Your in the NBA play the real NBA LIVE 09 not on the screen.
Full grown man addicted to video games? Sounds like dude is pretty soft.
