Sorry folks. With the back to back and then working late tonight, I missed my opportunity to connect you guys to the Wizards site earlier. Their discussion has slowed over the topic of Oden vs Mcgee but they are looking for more Portland fans to comment.

I know everyone has moved on to other topics and I saw Timbo's fanpost below but I haven't seen this linked yet: Discussion of McGee vs Oden.

Yes...

I have been following their site since the beginning of the season and trying to update when any Blazer related posts come up. They have a three headed monster of site monitors, Pradamaster, Jake the Snake and Truth About It, that do a fantastic job of breaking down their team for their fans. They don’t have as much traffic as we do but they have a number of faithful posters that contribute to their discussions on a regular basis that make their site fun to follow.

The Blazer game was the first game I have seen of theirs so it makes it hard to comment with any regularity over there but I have learned quite a bit about what they think of their team.

I had been checking their site right up to the day before the game with us but with both teams having a back to back, the game didn’t come up until game day. With it being an early game and all, I didn’t get a chance to link their game day thread or any other topics. I will get the conversation going earlier when they come to Portland.

I have tried to get their perspective on the Blazers and tossed out some trade ideas just to get a feel for my own homerism, and theirs. I would like to engage more but I haven’t had much of a chance to see them play so it is tough to comment outside of Blazer related comments.

It is a tough season for them with two major injuries and a mid-season coaching change but they have a pretty good plan over the next 3 to 4 years that will make them competitive. Injuries to Arenas and Haywood have just stalled them for a coule months and maybe the year if Arenas can’t make it back.

It’s good to see my arch-nemesis tssbro is slacking on his ambassador duties like I have.

My problem over at BaB is that I’m more optimistic about their team then they are. I’m not sure that they’re in the mood for optimism this season. At the same time, it also would not go over well if I bashed their team. Basically all I do over there is cuss when I can and try to agree with people when I can.

I didn’t even know you were an ambassador to anyone!!

It is kind of hard to contribute in any way to the other blog. I just don’t see their team play. I have read a lot of their posts and links they put up but it is hard to have much of an opinion without seeing more games. I have put up a couple of links here but I felt bad that my first opportunity to really get the sites connected and talking went by without my being there.

I will do better when they come to Portland.

I'm with ya

I only comment in their trade proposals but then this place catches wind of it and they get another 20 responses. I’ve watched a few Chicago games and like I said before, I’m more optimistic about their team then they are and that’s not their thing.
