I hate how depressed he sounds when the Blazers are losing (or when the opponent hits a routine jumper for that matter). He needs to be more measured and give credit to the opponent. He’s far too bipolar.

…BUT, when compared to the vast majority of NBA announcers, Wheels is a lot better.
When I lived in Germany during the 21 win season, I had a NBA audio pass and listened all over and was SHOCKED at how bad most of the announcers were. So dry, so boring, so wrong all the time!
Wheels is obviously a homer and appears to live and die with the team, but I’m ok with that on the radio. Only homers and locals listen to the radio anyways. He ain’t perfect, but when compared with his peers he’s at the top with whoever else we like up there (I haven’t listened to the other announcers, or the games on radio in general, since I got league pass)

He’s still a brickmaster, but he’s shooting a very respectable 38% after his hot streak with the Mavs last season from 3 point land.
You can’t leave him open, and he doesn’t SUCK at shooting, but for such a good player his shots go BONK an awful lot. But sure, he’s a HOF first ballot, and for a guy like THAT he can’t shoot.
Just wondering, because I can’t say, what other PG has been as successful as Kidd and also been such a “bad” shooter?

Its a smart idea to make Roy sit out because we aren't likely to win this game anyway. Now a key to this game
will be stepping up the physicality. Greg needs to not just foul someone, he needs them to end up on the ground. Joel needs to get in Garnetts face. Any chest pounding by Garnett and I want to see a elbow in Garnett’s chest on the very next play.
Nate needs to get a technical. There is nothing wrong with getting a technical some times. Phil Jackson gets one and you start hearing Kobe get every call. The Blazers need to play hard, foul hard, and not back down.
That all being said, watch KG get off scott free while he taunts the Blazers.

What's happening is Garnett and another Celtic hang out near the key.
Rondo drives which causes whoever’s guarding the “other Celtic” to collapse to help with the drive. That leaves LMA guarding “other Celtic” and KG. “Other Celtic” and KG split and one of them is open. It’s starting with Rondo smoking whoever’s guarding him.
